He showed me some different brands and styles and I was able to take them for a spin in the parking lot. Marc has been there for a long time and he knows his stuff. He knows the history of each brand and he will tell you which one is the best among them. He is a bit on the quiet side, so you have to ask your questions. I also like that he took my mongoose in and gave it a tune up. I bought that bmx Mongoose from Fb marketplace for $30. It was in rough shape and he tuned it up and got her moving nicely. I settled on the cannondale and he put together the medium frame. I'm at the tall end of the small frame and just felt more comfortable on the medium frame. It was a great experience and I will go back to the shop again when I need bicycle supplies. I'm always in favor of supporting the local guy. HIs prices are comparable to online and you get that people experience that you would miss out on by ordering online.

Do yourself a favor and don't bother taking it back for them to work on. Take it to the one in Ocala if you want it done correctly. They fixed the mess that was caused by brooksville and will definitely use them from now on.

I reassembled the wheel put it on the bike and it has been fine since. I guess what perturbs me is that at 73 I didn't want to deal with the hassle of changing the tube and tire. But then I paid them $100 bucks and I still had to do it myself. I suppose they are nice people but I know they dealt with me poorly.
