We hired Eric with E.L. Construction to do a cosmetic update on our home in Phoenix. We replaced the flooring, painted the entire house, updated bathrooms, put in a new fireplace, updated pantry and closets, and did a complete kitchen remodel. The kitchen required removing a wall to open up the closed dark kitchen and adding an oversized bar. Eric was extremely timely and professional in getting us a comprehensive quote. I had EL Construction come evaluate a patio cover with a rafter succumbing to rot. Eric himself answered promptly, and gave a fair assessment of the repair and the possibility of scope creep and how that would work. When I accepted his quote, he got me scheduled very quickly, and sure enough the scope had to get considerably bigger. The ease of communicating with him made what could be a scary situation much more approachable, and he definitely seemed motivated to treat my home like it was his own. The project dragged on three days longer than expected, but at every stage it was kept protected from the monsoon elements, and the construction made quick progress. I can't praise this company highly enough. We had a small rental house in Mesa that needed repairs and remodeling to make it safe and comfortable for my elderly parents to move into.
