Asked for a bald fade (something very common) and received a lawnmower treatment to my head. There is absolutely no fade, all my hair up top is a complete fuzzball. I'm currently wearing a hat for the next two weeks and it's obvious that both sides were cut uneven. All I need is some acne on my face and I'd be back in my prepubescent highschool days.

They really don't care about much, as far as appearance goes... but they are particular about their hair (12 y/o). My one son likes (not sure if I'm saying this correctly) a fade with textured fringe. The other one liked long hair, before discovering the mullet. Went to Joe for fade style, and Doug for mullet. They both treated the boys like clients.. asked exactly what they wanted... made sure they got it. It was nice they listened to them. Never seen barbers (or honestly the $120+ stylists I pay for my daughter and I) spend that much time and care/concern to make sure their client gets exactly what they want. The $ is more than I had been paying prior, but way offset by the quality. They scissor cut both boys hair..lots of time and detail. Very precision cuts, to make sure they got exactly what they wanted. They are very happy! Pretty sure my husband will be heading in next.

One of the other barbers brushed and my four year old's hair because he heard her asking for a a haircut and had a few extra minutes. She was over the moon. The Original Barbershop is always comfortable and professional. All the gentlemen who work there are always friendly and classy. There's laughing and conversations that fill the air, but they're conscious that there are kids present and keeping it appropriate. I can't recommend it enough-we've personally had Miguel for the past 2-3 years and yesterday Evan. The other barbers seem to be just as professional and friendly providing great service. Both boys cuts were just as I wanted, short and neat, with attention to detail. I've taken them to other shops in the area, but I'm relieved to have found this place. The barbers were young and friendly with my boys and took the time to be nice and chatty with them to keep them distracted. My youngest was quite vocal about his displeasure with sitting still, and he came through it with a smile and a very nice hair cut. Love the lime green barber pole, and the moustached signage. When I got home my wife pointed out two or three spots where I had been nicked by the razor and there was visible blood. During the haircut when working around my ear he pushed it back hard, uncomfortably, and for longer than normal, leaving it red and hot. Twice he dropped something he was using on the floor and I'm not sure if he reused it or replaced it, but I'm starting to think he reused it. He was aggressive and quick with most of his hair clipper movements and left my neck feeling raw. The man who cut my hair, Arturo, didn't greet me when I first walked in. After waving me over he proceeded to place his phone down in a viewing position with a YouTube or some video running. He had an AirPod in and paid little attention to me. He spoke Spanish to his pals there and didn't utter almost a single word other than asking what I wanted done. Awful experience. Avoid going there!
