I had 3 appointments with Dr. Ricky Sayal and 2 out of 3 were unsatisfactory. I was initially referred for issues related to my sinuses and throat and was given a diagnosis of allergies and LPR (Laryngopharyngeal Reflux). DR. Sayal never described LPR or even told me what it stands for, I had to research the disorder on my own. However, I felt satisfied enough after the first appointment. During my two follow up appointments Dr. Sayal was over 30 minutes late to both appointments and the time he spent during each appointment was less than 10 minutes; I felt that he was eager to end my appointments quickly. During my second follow up I had communicated my recent symptoms and mentioned that I was having difficulty telling if my symptoms were improving or not, Dr. Sayal did not ask any follow up questions or inquire about the changes I had made based on his recommendations. I feel that there was nothing that he said that a quick Google search could not have told me instead. I was also off put by the fact that the exam rooms each had monitors advertising Dr. Sayal's cosmetic work; I saw several before and after pictures of rhinoplasties, face lifts, and eye tucks. I do not know the fully extend of Dr. Sayal's practice, but it did not inspire confidence in me given that my ENT referral has more ads for cosmetic services in his offices. Overall, I would say that I have had the unfortunate experience that many have when interacting with the medical system, that of being just another face. I am left thinking: if this is the kind of treatment you provide, why did you go to medical school for all those years? read more

Dr. Lepoudre misdiagnosed ACC Cancer on my wife's tongue as "Chicken Allergy. It was found 5 months later by our dentist on a routine oral exam. 5 MONTHS.!!. She died last year. Stay away from these QUACKS. read more

Dr. Kadar was horrible to my son. His bedside manner was very unprofessional. His medical assistant staff was rude and condescending.

DO NOT GO HERE: parent of 18yo who had consultation. Received unexpected bill for laryngoscopy performed during the exam. Called billing dept and was told "could have refused service for anything at anytime". Can go back and forth on the exam and whole experience, but bottom line is that the 18yo signed NO ABN and signed NO INFORMED CONSENT for the invasive laryngoscopy. FAILURE TO OBTAIN/DOCUMENT INFORMED CONSENT IS REFUSAL PEOPLE! And do not even get me started on the laryngoscope itself. Found out staff brought laryngoscope in on a tray, but it wasn't labeled or stored in any manner to indicate PROPER DISINFECTION (according to Spaulding classifications, it would require HLD). Given everything else, definitely makes me wonder. GROSS! Will be seeking further consult on this. ​ read more

Good medical care at a hefty price. Dr. Varjabedian is a good doctor. He is wonderful with kids. He is also a good surgeon and has a great bedside manner. That being said, please be aware that the Brighton ENT Specialists office seems to value money over patient care and protection. Clerical and billing staff are generally rude and disorganized. They do not always check member benefits and will overcharge patients for services. Billing and insurance errors are common. Also, clerical staff inappropriately disclose HIPAA Protected Health Information in the waiting room area, which is against the law. More importantly, you must be aware that clerical may deny you access to medically necessary services if you have an outstanding balance of any kind, for any reason and for even a small amount. The complete lack of decency, discretion and compassion by clerical staff negates the quality of care available from the practitioners at this office. read more

the doctor care is great but staff needs lessons on patient care and communication. very disappointed with the way the staff handles being behind and the wait time. communication is key all it takes is one word from them stating what's going on or an appology and they can't do either. they have no emotion or care for the paients they seem to just be there for a paycheck. read more

Was later billed for two co-pays that I had already paid in the office. Billing errors seem very common. Unacceptable

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Lepoudre. At my initial visit, she diagnosed me without any kind of exam. When I asked her to at least do an assessment, she told me I was getting ahead of myself and had me watch a video. She also kept taking off her mask (during the height of the Covid 19 pandemic) while saying, "nobody is sick here!" But she was going between exam rooms meeting with more than 1 patient at a time. She finished my appointment by explaining that they couldn't do any testing since I was still on med's that were prescribed at the onset of my symptoms. She asked me to go off the meds and then make 2 more appointments for testing and treatment. I would have appreciated being told to go off the meds when I initially made the appointment. I decided to go to another doctor, and where I had a very thorough exam and was give a correct diagnosis. (Dr. Lepoudre's diagnosis was wrong.) Other ENT's at this practice were highly recommended (Dr. Farrugia and Dr. Varjabedian), but my experience was very disappointing! read more
