I have seen her 3 times, have taken my granddaughter to see her for her preteen break outs which Dr Padma cured. She is very knowledgeable, caring, thorough, has amazing bed side manner, has an amazing personality, It is enlightening for the soul just to see her-and I do not like going to doctors. I went to the Brighton specialty center today to have a hydrogen breath test performed. It is a…read moreprocedure that takes approximately two hours. The staff was so inviting and so kind to me. It was a little chilly in the room so I was offered a warm blanket. And then when I was still cold, they gave me another warm blanket. Each time they came into the room, which was every 15 minutes, they always had a smile on their face. When the procedure was over, the nurse was kind to let me know what to expect next and how many days to wait for the results before it would show up on my portal. If you have a procedure to be done, it's worth the drive out to Brighton. I love it every time I come out to this facility.

Reception staff at the blood draw were incredibly rude and possibly racist as they were rude about…read moremy wife's name because it is foreign. They gave her attitude after she spelled her last name. The same receptionist ignores me when I spell my name so it takes like 3-4 minutes extra before she actually decides to listen to what I'm saying. If I were the u of m I would retrain some of your staff in customer service. The care once you get past reception is great. The physical therapists are amazing and so helpful. The biggest issues are the long wait times made worse by inefficient and rude staff.

I was initially…read morereferred for issues related to my sinuses and throat and was given a diagnosis of allergies and LPR (Laryngopharyngeal Reflux). DR. Sayal never described LPR or even told me what it stands for, I had to research the disorder on my own. However, I felt satisfied enough after the first appointment. During my two follow up appointments Dr. Sayal was over 30 minutes late to both appointments and the time he spent during each appointment was less than 10 minutes; I felt that he was eager to end my appointments quickly. During my second follow up I had communicated my recent symptoms and mentioned that I was having difficulty telling if my symptoms were improving or not, Dr. Sayal did not ask any follow up questions or inquire about the changes I had made based on his recommendations. I feel that there was nothing that he said that a quick Google search could not have told me instead. I was also off put by the fact that the exam rooms each had monitors advertising Dr. Sayal's cosmetic work; I saw several before and after pictures of rhinoplasties, face lifts, and eye tucks. I do not know the fully extend of Dr. Sayal's practice, but it did not inspire confidence in me given that my ENT referral has more ads for cosmetic services in his offices. Overall, I would say that I have had the unfortunate experience that many have when interacting with the medical system, that of being just another face. I am left thinking: if this is the kind of treatment you provide, why did you go to medical school for all those years?
