short story : NO RETURNS ACCEPTED - you're better off at Best Buy…read more long story : I went to L2 because I live in Ansonia and thought I would receive better service and honesty at a small business vs a big box store. I was wrong. The service part was fine, but the honesty part was missing. Bill recommended a laptop based on the one thing i needed - internet speed. The first laptop I bought would not even boot up; a blue screen flashed and it shut off. Bill exchanged it for another. The second laptop is so slow it reminds me of waiting for AOL to connect by dial-up. When I took it back and explained that I could not stream NETFLIX, or open more than one tab at a time, or that "connection was reset" would happen randomly, Bill informed me that he does not accept returns just because the laptop didn't meet my expectations.

When he finally got my last message last week and read my 1-star review he acknowledged that he had never received my voice mails. Today he came to my home and fixed my computer to the extent that he could. He will come to "clean it up" next week. I am glad to see that it was a glitch in his voice messaging system and not with him.

I did some shopping around on the prices and while Elite IT's were slightly higher ($130ish vs. $100) .. I got 1) a 90-day warranty and 2) an entire mold/kit replacement.. not just the glass replacement. About a week later I noticed a small crack in the glass near my home button and my headphone jack had stopped working. I called Elite IT back up and they said "No worries, we'll fix it for you. You're under warranty". Brought it in and they again fixed it same day. Even stayed open a few extra minutes after closing hours so I could pick it up. Xavier was the best! Very friendly and helpful. Would def go back here vs. a mall store or other 3rd party replacement shop.

It was surprising to see the wide selection of TV, home theater, video Camcorders, drones, smart home security, and appliances they also carry. The store was stocked, well organized and fairly clean. Most of the people working there are knowledgeable and helpful. I am not sure that Best Buy is still an accurate name for the store. The prices have risen significantly.

Good evening, Michael,       In my email, I am complaining about poor customer service and feeling uncomfortable while shopping at your Orange, CT location on December 22, 2022. While I fully understand retail theft/fraud exists, and we must watch out for suspicious patrons, employees, and/or contractors at all times. However, it's inappropriate and unacceptable for staff to continuously observe visitors in any form without providing high-quality customer service, such as asking if assistance is needed or alerting the visitor that staff members will remain nearby at all times in the event assistance is needed.       During this particular visit, not only was I followed, but I was also monitored and felt silently harassed. As I arrived, I headed straight to the Amazon display to purchase additional Echo Dots. Due to the multiple choices, I became increasingly indecisive about which product to purchase. As I looked around, I witnessed your employee, "Andrew" observing my area and acknowledging my indecisiveness. However, an offer of help never arrived. Shortly after, I witnessed Andrew speaking to additional staffers and their attention was immediately focused on me. Still, no help was offered. As I walked back-and-forth from each side of the display shelf, two staffers walked through my area and never offered any assistance, yet it was apparent to me that I was under their constant supervision. At this point, I realized that I was being suspected of trying to commit fraud. Needless to say, I would never do such. Other shoppers were reviewing the same products in the meantime, so I accepted their knowledge in order to make my final decision.       In fact, I have been a Best Buy credit card holder for 15+ years with Orange being my primary shopping location for the past 3.5 years. In those years, I have never felt the way I feel today. I trust this is not the way Best Buy wishes to conduct business with valued customers. I have been shopping at Best Buy for more than 20 years and have never encountered such treatment before including profiling.
