As an athletic director, when my sons reached the point I felt I could no longer help them with the fundamentals of baseball, I reached out to friends and other coaches/athletic directors to find a person who could help my sons. One name and one cage kept popping up with them Ernie Ramirez at E29 Baseball Training. We started just as the pandemic hit in 2020. First just hitting because games were too far off and then the youngest son needed catching. Ernie and his staff have done a wonderful job with both my sons. To be honest Ernie and his staff also helped me realize something I already knew, this was a process not a race, the boys would develop at their own pace. That is the biggest plus they have, not only do they get your players ready but they show you as the parent the process. When your player is being hardheaded, they are patient....when your player needs to be pushed they push...when you as a parent need to back off, they'll tell you. My sons look forward to going to E29 and see Ernie and the rest of his trainers, even though it is hard work and occasionally they don't want to work that hard. These trainers have all played college baseball at least and all have a background in education(ie all know how to teach to your player). 3 years now and you can see in the picture how far my youngest son has come...his hard work and E29's instruction...the only way it happens and they both aren't done yet. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of E29. 10/10. As a military family we move...A LOT. This does not lend itself well to being able to be consistent with a team, an area or good training that comes from routine. My son started training at E29 a year ago with Ernie and now also trains with BJ. The improvement has been amazing. His form has improved in every aspect of the game. But here's the thing: The trainers don't just care about improving their game or their skills. They care about improving them in so many other aspects. Ernie has helped my son understand the things he needs to do for his health and his training in order to gain the tools needed to improve his game outside of just coming to the shop, taking swings, and throwing pitches. The trainers care about the people these kids with their whole being and it shows. The training has improved my kid's game and skills. But the confidence boost that he has gained in every aspect training here has been absolutely amazing to watch for me as a parent. Highly recommend. read more

My daughter has been going to E29 since she was 6 years old and my son since he was 8 years old. They were already playing baseball and really improved by going to train with trainers at E29. My son learned how to pitch with them and my daughter got stronger I. Her hitting. My son also started getting triples, double and a couple of home-runs and his pitching was on point with strike outs !! My son got more aggressive and stronger with E29 in a great! Way. He had Shane , AJ and Brad (great trainers) My daughter transitioned into Softball almost a year ago. She went to go train as pitcher with Asia from scratch. My daughter went from 25 mph to 46 mph in less than a year. She also catches and has improved her game more than ever. Asia is my daughter's trainer and she is an AMAZING TRAINER. Rick Sherman has been an absolute game-changer for my kids. In a very short amount of time, the improvement in both my son (5) and daughter (3) has been incredible--not just in their skills, but in their confidence and overall love for the game. As a former athletic director, I can tell you that E29's staff is second to none in coaching kids to play baseball. This staff is stocked with former and current coaches at every level. They are not yellers and screamers, they will positively reinforce the kids to change their bad habits. Currently I have my two sons receiving individual instruction and the group fielding lessons. My oldest was afraid of the ball because of being hit in the face. He bailed out when he swung. Within a couple of sessions Ernie got him to spread out, stand in, and swing. Both boys enjoy going down to E29 for their hitting sessions. If you are concerned about COVID, I will say they take every pre-caution. I trust them thoroughly on keeping the kids safe. This place cares about teaching baseball the right way...they do not take shortcuts!!! read more

My daughter decided she wanted to try out pitching this year. Since I know nothing about softball, we reached out to Ernie who helped introduce us to his softball pitching coach, Asia! Asia has a way of talking to our daughter in ways she can understand, breaks down the mechanics so she can learn WHY you need to do things a certain way. Even after just one lesson, we saw a HUGE improvement!! Lessons with Asia have been the best investment! As for the facilities, everyone we've met there so far has treated us like family! My oldest son (8) has been going to E29 for over a year. When he started he was very timid and afraid of catching a ball. After weekly hour long sessions with Ernie I've seen his confidence on an off the field drastically improve. My youngest son (5) recently started on weekly 30 minute sessions with Steven. Both Steven and Ernie are very patient with my boys. This has been a great opportunity for both of them to learn more about baseball and improve their skill level. Coach Ernie was so patient and taught my 2 boys who didn't even know how to swing a bat to be able to play their first year of U12 baseball with confidence.
