After filling out the extensive questionaire, as well as, sharing that I had been in n' out of therapy for 50+ years coupled with was looking for someone for grief and trauma. It felt like Mary never read nor heard what I was looking forward. She literally did nothing but ask "accessment" questions most of them where relevent to behaviors 55 years ago! Finally after 35 minutes I said isn't this redundent from questionaire that I filled out. Shortly thereafter said look let's cut to the chase you have not once asked me why I am here which to me was strange. Long story short we both agreed that I should see someone else. Than was booked with Deanna Gemette for Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Because of my previous experience with Mary Freitag asked if it would be possible to talk with Deanna for 5 to 10 minutes. Was told the message would be relayed to her. Nothing. A couple of days later called back with the very same request. Nothing. Suffice to say, it will not be three strikes and you are out I am totally done with this clinic "chain." For comparisons was given a referral from a competent therapist but was not taking on new clients. This new therapist without me asking suggested we talk for a few minutes before we set up an appointment. Have learned that bad therapy is not simply bad it is destruction to the vulnerable client.
