Do NOT take your young children here!!!!! My 5 year old son was completely TRAUMATIZED this morning going in for his first filling and my husband had to carry him out before the work was completed. The dentist was impatient and rude to both my child and husband. They had a movie on for him and when he said he couldn't see it, the dentist responded, "we aren't going to compete," and shut it off. Nervous for the visit, they attempted to give him laughing gas. The mask was uncomfortable and the dentist snapped, "stop it! You're fine!" My husband expressed his concern about moving forward as my son was still visibly upset and stressed after several minutes of laughing gas. She said that he'll calm down after receiving novocaine. As soon as she applied the first needle, he screamed and started to flail. She held him down until my husband said to stop, that it wasn't safe with these conditions. Had she been more patient and talked calmer with my son, he may have trusted her more and the filling could have been done. Now he is numb for no reason. I called the dentist and she tried to tell me that SHE explained it wasn't safe while that upset, except it was MY husband who urged her to stop. She should not be considered a family or children's dentist. We will never be back. read more

Very disappointed in this dentist office. My 5 year old has allergies and a medical condition due to it that causes her to cough year round. When we arrived my daughter did 1 cough and we were instantly called out publicly in front of everyone waiting. I offered any and all medical records to explain her condition and they were not willing to even see them. I feel medially discriminated on and do not recommend this office. read more

Let me just start by saying that if I could give this place zero stars, I would. The absolute worse experience ever, for my 5 year old. Where to begin: The place is absolutely disgusting. Stained carpeting, the entrance smells likes a wet diaper, the back area is completely disorganized, old, and dirty. We waited a half hour before we were taken back, and when we were finally called, they took another patient at the same time. It thought that was strange to begin with, but then we were brought to an open area, that is not even individual rooms. The assistant and the "doctor" (and I use that term very lightly) were tag teaming the two kids. Can we say not professional? While my son was attempting to have his first dental experience, the child next to us decided to have a complete mental breakdown, and started screaming like someone was ripping her teeth out. The assistant that was with us, went to ask the "doctor" if she would be willing to move her patient to an inclosed room (surprise! They have them but don't use them?), because the child was freaking out my son, as well as we were in the middle of xrays). Instead of being understanding of the situation and moving her patient over, she waived her assistant off and very rudely said "if THEY (meaning us) want to move, they can!" She then continued to clean the other child's teeth, who was actually being held down by her mom. Side note- that is something that they ask you to do..hold your child down. Who does that? Then, it was our turn to be seen by the "doctor". She was very impatient, rude, and abrasive with my son. For a place that claims they cater to children, they definitely do not have the skills, compassion, patience, or professionalism to deal with kids. ESPECIALLY IF IT'S THEIR FIRST EXPERIENCE. She also decided to give floride to my son, without even asking, and before I could even say anything she was already putting it in his mouth. Parents, beware of this so called dentist. Judy Lim is her name, and it's hilarious that on their website, they claim that her expertise is Children's Dentistry. Dentists and Dental Hygienists are wonderful at this clinic. So much that my wife and I drive 25 minutes to get here for our kids' appointments and have been doing so since our oldest was very young. Since we still have little kids (big gap in years), we will continue to make this drive, especially while the kids are young. As the kids grow, they take the time to walk through x-rays and tell us what to expect the upcoming year in terms of teeth health. Love the "sealant" they apply to cavity-free teeth, it is a great protectant to avoid cavities in the first place. They are great with the kids, I highly recommend these guys. read more

The girls just got back from their first dentist appointment and I am totally disgusted! Every single thing they want to do is a toxic nightmare! They push this poison and argue as if we are being irresponsible for for refusing it. I can't imagine how many unsuspecting families have believed these lies and let them poison their children. They are also very stern with small children. When our 4 year old wouldn't cooperate they gave up in one minute and said she's need to go to the hospital for general anesthesia. General anesthesia on a 4 year old for an exam? That's insane! First they want to start with a Silver Diamine Fluoride treatment. Fluoride is one of the most toxic substances on earth and while it kills bacteria it also kills everything else it comes into contact with including healthy cells and even tooth enamel. Fluoride is detectable in urine within 30 minutes of treatment. Did you know the instructions say to be careful not spill it on floors and countertops, or let it contact anything really. So its not safe for the floor but they put it in you kids mouth! Did you know one large tube of Fluoride toothpaste is enough to kill a toddler? Then they tell you Amalgam fillings are perfectly safe, even for a 4 year old, even though the ADA says they are only safe for children 6 and up. That is far from the truth though. it's not safe for anyone. Amalgam contains Mercury which is also one of the most toxic substances on earth. Any claims that Amalgam is safe is bold faced lie. Studies have proven that a Mercury vapor leaches from these fillings constantly. If done correctly the vapor can be under the amount for safe guidelines but exposure during installation and removal can be much higher. This is why dental hygienist's have the one of the highest rates of disease of any profession. Over time the fillings can also degrade exposing people to 10 times the safe limit constantly for the rest of their lives. People who are concerned with these risks can opt for composite fillings but guess what? Even official ADA publications claim that standard composites are just as toxic as Amalgam. They contain plastics that have BPA in them or Bisphenol A and other toxic adhesive compounds. BPA is highly toxic and linked to brain and behavior problems, heart problems, cardiovascular problems, and even things like diabetes. These risks are elevated in children. Even the Mayo Clinic recommends avoiding BPA exposure. Dental sealants also contain BPA. One of the most troubling parts of our visit is that they tell you these are the only options. However, real dentists who are otherwise known as Natural Dentists, have composite fillings that don't contain any toxins, and you can always choose Ceramic which is the longest lasting and safest filling. Of course insurance doesn't cover these but if the insurance scam is forcing people to poison their children than is it really worth it? I'd rather take out a loan to pay for a real dentist than poison my children. STOP LETTING IGNORANT DENTIST'S POISON YOUR CHILDREN! read more
