OP: I thought I was starting up with an established primary care provider. The signs on the building were temporary and removable. Did the initial appointment and bloodwork. They scheduled a follow up in two weeks. In the meantime I did some research and clinics by the same name in other states had terrible reviews and said it was a scam to sell supplements and weight loss surgeries. I went back to see what happened. They reviewed my results and presented a list of supplements I needed that I would be able purchase at the front counter. Keep in mind, I am on prescriptions for daily multivitamins, daily prenatal vitamins (not pregnant, for folic acid), and vitamin B-12. I didn't go back.

Even my knee doctor who refers to physical therapy places all the time said to cancel with them that is an outrageous price! I canceled immediately and would never refer to them.

I have a rare condition that requires a Physical Therapist who has advanced training and knowledge, so the receptionist had me speak directly to the owner, Dr. Reid Patterson. He was so generous with his time and his knowledge, setting my worried mind at ease about receiving the specialized care my weird body requires. I've been injured several times by PT's who were unaware and undereducated about my condition, so I'm pretty careful when choosing a PT. Dr. Patterson assured me that there are practitioners at his clinic who completely understand the needs of patients with my condition. I'm looking forward to feeling better and having more strength and less pain!

Because I was a late appointment in the day, there was never a receptionist there. I asked explicitly twice and indirectly another time about how I could pay and was left without answers. Finally when insurance started sending through claims after my 10th session, I realized that I would owe $60 per session. I think it is completely unethical to have someone come in without telling them what they owe, especially when they are asking. In addition, one of the therapists was billed as out of network when they are meant to be in network. The manager of the meridian office was kind enough to "just charge me my copay" instead of the $200 my insurance said I would likely owe per visit. He said this was taking a big hit for them, when I know their out of pocket cost is $70, so just $10 less. Like I said, the people and the service was good, but I cannot believe this practice that left me with a $660 bill when I had been asking to pay.
