I've also suffered from motion sickness since I was a little girl and this has decreased immensely following the program. Peak Chiropractic's approach to care is different than any other chiropractic service I've ever been to. They make individualized adjustments based on your X-rays without any twisting, cracking, or popping of the spine. I drove down to the office to get it straightened out and no one would talk to me (they have in-house billing) and the front desk woman was so incredibly rude. I called the phone # on the bill and a woman who works for them checked into it and said that it was their fault and that they had billed my insurance incorrectly and promised to take care of it telling me to ignore any other bills or notices. So here I sit 5 months later with a new letter from a collection agency. BEWARE and go somewhere else if you have a choice. The only satisfaction I have is knowing they will only get half of the $127 they wrongly billed me because they have to pay the collection agency.

I got a bill for $248.00 for an evaluation and therapeutic exercises (NO exercise were done and the total should have been for an hour and I was only there for 30 min with no help, just confirmation that I needed surgery. I cant imagine my bills if I would have gone to them 2-3 times a week as was originally expected!

I have worked in healthcare for over 25 years, yet I was completely unprepared for the lack of…read moresafety and professional integrity at this clinic. The physician failed to provide adequate screening (available on VA website) or a proper warning. By referring to the VA's clinical guidelines, the clinic would have seen that my medical background made this level of pain and rage a predictable risk. They knew, or should have known, yet I was told only that I would just be "sleepy." The physician also used blatant medical misinformation--falsely claiming Valium "increases seizure risk"--to justify denying scheduled care. This was shared after I took the med, not allowing for informed consent, if it were true. It is actually used to prevent seizures. This appeared to be a tactic to cover for their own administrative failures. I later experienced level 9/10 facial pain (trigeminal nerve) and a flood of uncontrollable rage, I was terrified-- magnified by the fact that there was no one to call. On the way home, I had to fight every urge not to smash the dashboard or window. This was completely out of character for me. I was left in agony, wondering if I had been permanently injured, with zero after-hours medical access.The doctor did not know that I did have someone to be in the house overnight: they only knew I had the required driver. If I were not already accustomed to managing high levels of distress, I don't know how I would have made it through. This clinic's failure to screen, warn, or provide a medical lifeline is a direct risk to your life. Avoid.
