I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I brought my vehicle here to have my tint done, and now it's peeling. I contacted the installer, and he told me to schedule an appointment because he could fix it. I took time out of my day to bring my car in, only to find out he wasn't even there. Mind you i drove two hours to get there because i used to live in the area and since then have moved. Also i have brought three of my cars here to give them business. Instead of honoring what I was told, another employee immediately started making excuses. She claimed the tint on my door was peeling because of my seat belt or my keys, and the tint on the back window was peeling because of the heat. Last time I checked, tint is supposed to withstand normal use and hot weather. If it can't handle a seat belt or summer temperatures, that's a workmanship issue--not a customer issue. She called the installer while I was standing there, and after being told he would fix it, they suddenly changed their story and decided they weren't going to honor their work because they somehow claimed it was my fault. The worst part wasn't even the peeling tint--it was the complete lack of accountability. They were quick to make excuses, refused to stand behind their work, and wasted my time by having me come in for an appointment they had no intention of honoring. If a business can't stand behind its own workmanship and treats customers this way, I can't recommend them to anyone. read more

Great price and fairly quick service on a Saturday. I came here around 10AM. They put 5% tint on my two front windows (I'll post pics soon). The windows look great and match nicely with the factory tint on the rear windows. While I waited I found a cafe across the street that has the best shrimp n' grits! See separate review (I AM Cafe) The best part about doing business here is the price. I paid $85 for two windows (SUV). That's a lot lower than what I was quoted at a shop in Oakland on Broadway. They wanted double that amount. I've brought two vehicles to this shop and each time they didn't disappoint. What's more is that I returned a week later concerned that I saw a few tiny bubbles in the tint. And although I was reassured that they would go away in a few weeks they went ahead and replaced the tint for free - no fuss, no hassle! The shop is easy to miss off of International Blvd. Make sure you drive your car to the rear of the building. I think they keep their front door locked during business hours for safety reasons. They have a photo album of previous work and a pallet that displays tint options. Bring something to read while you're waiting or go to the cafe across the street. The cafe is apart of a community food court. There's also a delicious Filipino eatery inside (Thank-Que Grill). The lumpia is bomb and the owner is super friendly! read more

Santiago tinted the windows on my Tesla. He did a great job. He was able to get me in right away. He said there might be some bubbling after and if so to bring it back. There was a little bit of bubbling on my back window around the defrost lines. He got me in and out and got the bubbles out no problem. I brought my newly bought car in for window tinting. Turns out the guy who did the tinting left a HUGE scratch on the right side of my windshield without telling me. I found out later on from someone else who was doing a wrap on my car. After discovering this, I called the Eagle Tinting place to see if the guy could replace my windshield and he said he could. However, it's been almost a year and still no windshield. Definitely not a guy who takes responsibility of his actions. I don't recommend this place. I've been using Eagle Tinting for the past 6 years starting when I use to work at a dealership and having such a great experience with them I decided to use them again on my personal car. I wasnt too sure which one to go with but after seeing the little price difference between the standard and 3m I ended up with the 3m tint. They do take the time to go over the benefits of each brand they offer (American Standard, Madico and 3m) and also the reasoning behind each shade. They took the time to bring the samples out to the car had me sit inside the car to help pick the color but remember once all the windows are done it'll look darker. read more

Santiago is a super nice and straight forward - everything was super easy and smooth which almost seems impossible these days. 1. He gave me a great quote on the phone, reserved me a time, and helped me find the right shade to match my back windows 2. He had higher quality tints but didn't pressure me into the upsell. 3. My car was done on time, looked nice and he even ran through a final inspection with me while he was working on another car. 4. It turned out my car had some remaining glue from the previous car owner's poor tint removal. I'm a little torn on how many stars to give. I guess 4 for quality of work, but 2 for some of the cons that I have listed below. I guess, since 3 is in between, I'll go with that. ******* My 5 year old 3M tint on my back window with a lifetime warranty had began to bubble and peel. The company that applied it (National Glass Tinting) is no longer around, so I did a google search and came up with Eagle Tinting. I asked if this was the same company and was told yes, so I made the first appointment at 9a for that Friday. I brought my original receipts PROS: 1. Employee was polite. Let me know what would be done to fix the tint and how long it would take. 2. No haggle. The work was covered under warranty and I wasn't made to feel like I was inconveniencing anyone. 3. Work was nicely done, and I didn't have to wait a long time to get my car back. 4. Received courtesy phone call letting me know when the work was completed. CONS: 1. Business was 20 minutes late opening, so I had to wait 2. Not located in the best area, and really no place to park except for an adjacent mini strip mall lot. 3. Disconnected phone numbers on website, with the exception of one. 4. Bread crumbs were left on my passenger seat when I picked up the car I did give a tip because I was happy with the actual work. It was done nicely and in a reasonable amount of time. I would probably come back here, because a little inconvenience is worth the quality. read more

I brought my car here yesterday to have the rear and back seat windows tinted (limo tint) which was a total of $140. I knew exactly what I wanted so they were able to start working on my car immediately. It took about an hour to finish. I am very happy with the quality of work. They are not located in the greatest neighborhood nor are there really any shops so you can't really walk around while waiting for them to finish, but they do do have a waiting area with couches where you can wait while they work. read more

*!!PLEASE READ!! I know it's too much but try :)* I couldn't give them anymore stars. I went in and it started off well. I called to set up an appointment to get my tints on my '16 mustang. I went early in the morning to drop it off and they said it was going to be ready in about 3 hours. 6 hours passed and NO CALL! So I ended calling them back to see what was going on. And this was his response "oh yea, it's ready". Like they forgot to call me to tell me. So I go to pick it up. I get there and I asked about another job on the same car that I wanted to get done. I had bought some vinyl racing stripes from American Muscle that I wanted installed so I figured they should be able to do it. I asked and they said yes. The guy starts explaining the details about the job. After this, I figured he knows what he's talking about and agreed to do it there. I'm thinking the car is going to have to stay over night but he said no. He said that it would be ready in about 3-4 hours. Well... same story. The 4 hours passed and no call so here I go again calling back to check and guess what the answer was. Same as last time. By this time I'm thinking, bad costumer service! So I take my car home. Exited because the car did look bad ass! Well after a week I stared noticing my tints had bubbles and scratches and my stripes were outta line and some little corners were coming off due to poor application. He pretty much crumbled the stripes under the front and back bumper where you wouldn't really bother looking. At this point im mad! I wasn't able to take it back right away due to my job. When I finally WAS able to take it back, they took a look at it and I started pointing out the scratches. He had the nerve to say "maybe someone put something on top of your back dash board and scratched it by accident." REALLY!? Why would I do that!? It's a sports car! And there's is nothing that would actually fit on there. It's a hatch back you dummy! So they said that they couldn't get to it that day cus it was too much work. Mind you that they had pulled this job (tints and stripes) in one day the first time! One of his workers kept complaining about how hot that day was going to be and that it was best for them to work on it the next day. I agreed only because I wanted this job to be done correctly this time. So the deal was that I was going to pick up my car the next day after I got off of work (5-6) I get there and no one acknowledges me till I went all the way in to the garage area and actually said something! When I walked in, I noticed that they were STILL working on my car (or maybe just starting to work on the car, I don't know anymore) the back window tint was removed, the original stripes that I bought were removed and were replaced by one of his stripes and they weren't going to be done until the next day (day2) oh and this is all my common sense & assuming, BECAUSE NO ONE SAID ANYTHING TO ME! so I said "I guess I'll be back tomorrow??..." to the guy working on the stripes (Santiago) he responded and said yes. So I'm pretty much asking all the questions trying to figure things out. So I asked if he was going to contact me after this was done, he said yes. As I'm about to leave, I asked if he had my number. He said no. WTF!? then how was he suppose to contact me!!? He pulled out a pen and paper to write down my info. Next day. I get off work. No call from them. I get home no call. It's 6:30pm and no freaking call. Same deal. I had to call as usual to check on my car after having stayed there 2 days, going onto 3. Yes, you guessed right! I got the same answer as the other 2 times!! ITS LIKE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR COSTUMERS! And let's not forget the attitude they had after I came back to show the flaws. So I pick up my car. All I can think is I just wanna be outta this place. I get home and notice my stripes have a few scratches (more like blade marks on them) and the front stripes are unaligned with the hood! HORRIBLE! I called ahead and was given an estimate of $190. The man on the phone spoke good English, but the man at the store barely spoke any English and was saying prices from $230 for cheap brand to over $600 for high-end 3M. My friend had his car tinted here about 2 years ago with good quality 3M for $225 and he didn't have any issue communicating with the store employees. I am not going to do business with someone who doesn't understand what I'm asking for. The competition is offering $299 for good quality 3M tint, so that seems about right. I should have known something was up when they told me $190 on the phone. Typical bait and switch, I guess... or bad communication between employees... or no set pricing structure. Kinda fly-by-night business, so I'll pass and won't recommend to my friends. read more

Great Service Friendly Customer Service. Tinted my drivers side window on Camaro in about 10 minutes after i had a replacement window put in also advised me that who ever installed my window did a terrible missaligned job and it needed to be shifted to reduce wind noise that i was hearing. I met the owner Santiago. He gave me 3 different choices for my Prius window tinting. I finally went with the 3M brand because that's what the wife wanted. Gave me a good price. He did not push me to purchase anything which is unusal for a sales man. He said he could have the work done in 2 hours. Before 2 hours my car was ready. They did a great job. Santiago was very patient with me and even offered to give me a ride home and pickup. They used to be across the street where Ashland Youth Community Center is now since 1988. Just had my S500 Mercedes done with 3m tint on all windows and came out fantastic! These guys have been doing all my cars for about the last 10 years and I'm always blown away because I'm a super picky sob when it comes to work on my cars. Never any airbubbles, lint, scratches, broken door panel clips whatsoever which is common with a lot of tint shops. They were able to squeeze me in at 5pm which was great being the impatient guy I am:) They are located across the street from the new skatepark/community center in san leandro. I have had tint done by many shops in the bay area and these people are by far the best being masters at their craft. If quality of workmanship is your concern, I Highly recomend these guys. Recently my commute got a lot longer, and I found myself baking in my car every afternoon being stuck in traffic on 880....I actually started noticing that my left arm was significantly more tan than my right one! Time to do something about that. Santiago was great - very helpful with finding a suitable film for what I was looking for. Who knew there were so many! Ended up with a great product that shields 99% of UV rays and a significant amount of heat. I called on a Saturday afternoon, he had just finished with another car and was able to fit me in right away. The complete install (not including the 20 minutes he spent me with trying to figure what I wanted) for the two front side windows took 45 minutes. They did an exceptional job, the applied film looks great and you can't tell that it's an aftermarket install. They visually fit in nicely with my factory tinted windows in the back. I yet have to see how it stands up to the test of time, but 3M products are generally pretty high quality and I don't expect any failure anytime soon. No bubbles anywhere. read more
