The first visit, we had the chicken strips and fries, which were decent. However, when we returned yesterday and ordered the same thing, the quality had noticeably declined. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil, and both items had an unpleasant aftertaste. This morning, we decided to give it one more try for breakfast. The staff had mentioned their breakfast was the best around, and again, with few other choices, we figured it was worth a shot. We ordered the breakfast burrito to share, since it was a hefty $15. Good thing we split it--the portion was enormous, definitely too big for one person. While the burrito was packed with ingredients, it was unfortunately very bland and lacked any real flavor. The ambiance was alright, but several tables had leftover food and hadn't been cleaned. This stood out because there were at least three staff members walking around, and it wasn't busy at all. It gave the impression that cleanliness wasn't much of a priority. Aside from the friendly staff, this place just doesn't deliver when it comes to taste or attention to detail.

The bun is more like a sourdough roll - not sure what to call it but it really brought the burger up a notch and it was already perfectly seasoned. The onion rings were delicious. Solid beer and cider options both in cans and on tap - full bar too. SUPER friendly staff and regulars. Dive bar? OH YEAH - the floors are all at various angles and the mini splits are installed by someone's cousin, but the tables are clean and there are sports on the TV's, pool tables, and good bar music. Don't drive by - it's kinda hidden on the middle of the block next to the alley way - HIGHLY recommend.

Indoors is a bit unkempt and could use a good cleaning. Service seemed a bit frazzled. I'm unsure if this was due to our group size or the tenure of the staff. I slurped on a Bodhi for $4 while reviewing the menu, my wife a Manny's for $4. My wife and I shared the French Dip Sandwich with Curly Fries for $15. We were starving and inhaled our lunch.
