But myself and fiancé, on a random Tuesday called Ms. Lori and she was able to fit us in that day to show us the venue. The place was absolutely beautiful, but the way Ms. Lori presented the venue, we fell in love and felt very comfortable and trusted her. My wedding was perfect. The staff did an outstanding job, the servers and bar tenders were so amazing. The bridal party, myself and husband went outside and took photos and the servers offered us Horderves, while outside. Amazing! As you can imagine during the big day the bride and groom don't eat much, but they made sure we were okay. My now husband and I are so happy with how everything went and how flexible the venue was. Cannot forget to mention, they accommodated our 58 guest during a live pandemic. Great customer service! There was 2 different bartenders, one was very sweet and still put my drink in a fancy glass and made it feel special. The 2nd time I went to the bar, it was a different servicer who seemed annoyed with my request, asked me to give her the order over and over again a few times (like it was gross) and didn't have the same attention to detail as the 1st bar tender. I felt really uncomfortable, so I took a star off my rating.

Sadly, that's where the compliments seem to end. Things have gone south since Jamie Sindelar (head pro) left. The pro shop is a ghost town, devoid of even basic necessities like tees or gloves. The overall maintenance and upkeep of the facilities are sorely lacking. And forget grabbing a bite to eat or a drink after your round, there's never any food service available, waitstaff or even a qualified bartender. To top it all off, the remaining staff seem miserable. Curt greetings, unhelpful responses, argumentative, and an overall hostile vibe that makes you feel unwelcome. I, for one, was really excited when this course got purchased. There were talks of revitalization, expansion, and for a brief period, it seemed like things were on the right track. Unfortunately, that initial optimism has faded fast and RaNic continues to be it's a frustrating exercise in wasted potential.

There are copious bare/dead spots, many on fairways and green approaches. The traps are unraked , with countless foot prints and sand divots. The edges of many greens are dead, the crabgrass is plentiful and nearly impossible to get out of. This is not a course for novices or beginners.

I have to message you three times in over a month, and you decide to reply back through a wedding website? ALWAYS call a customer back over messaging. I ordered a Last Word cocktail, which is a classic cocktail with a well-established recipe. It should have a bright green color from the combination of green Chartreuse, maraschino liqueur, gin, and fresh lime juice. Instead, what I was served was bright red. A Last Word is not supposed to be red. Even a quick search online will show that virtually every properly made Last Word is green because of the green Chartreuse. A red drink tells me the recipe was significantly altered or the wrong ingredients were used. If you're going to serve a classic cocktail, it should at least resemble the actual drink. The poor service combined with the incorrectly made cocktail made for a very disappointing experience. There are plenty of restaurants and bars that take pride in their hospitality and their bartending. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of them. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend it to anyone looking for good service or well-made cocktails.
