Oh.... where to begin…read more First of all, I'm writing this review in the hopes that the manager/owner will see it so they know how to improve customer experience. I'm not trying to tear down a little theater. However, my experience was kind of a mess. I bought tickets on Fandango. When we arrived we decided to head straight to the theater for seats. Nobody was checking tickets at all. We walked right in. Because I'm an honest person I had already paid for tickets, but it would literally be the easiest thing to sneak into. (Not that I'm advocating that). We found seats, and the guy next to us said hey the waitresses said there's only 2 of them for all the theaters so if you want popcorn etc it's better to go out to the front and order. So that's what we did. There was a line 4 deep when we got to the ordering line. It was barely moving. The employee said anyone seeing a movie go back to the theater and order from a waitress. Most of the line left. Another person in front of us waited, got fed up, and left. Now we are at the front of the line. And nobody's there. No employees to be seen. I even call out and nobody answers. I finally see the employee and ask him if we can buy popcorn. He says in a minute, he's selling tickets. There's a whole line of people trying to buy tickets and he's the only employee for the snack line and ticket line. I pressed him because we were the only one in the snack line and only wanted popcorn, whereas the ticket line was at least 10+ people. We got the popcorn which somehow was room temperature despite being freshly popped. They also add the butter in with a squirt bottle over top, so there were cold pieces with butter on them and absolutely no butter in the second half of the bowl. While we were waiting, we noticed a gallon of milk out on the counter, a milkshake half prepared, a bunch of customer garbage on the counter next to a cutting board with a half cut lime sitting on it, presumably for someone's mixed drink. All are not recommended practices for safe food handling, if not health code violations. A waitress never came to us in the theater. I did see one, but she never came to anyone in my party - someone stayed behind while we were in line at the bar area and still no option to order in theater. At the end of the movie, no one turned on the lights. We stayed several minutes into the credits and the lights were still dimmed which is a safety hazard. There was a family sitting on the floor because they bought tickets but couldn't get seats. We didn't know what to do with our popcorn bowl at the end of the movie so we left it in the theater since we saw others do the same. It seemed to sum up the night, nothing was really clear, no employees were explaining things, there were not enough employees. We also saw customer trash in a pile on the parking validation desk when we left. Also, they showed several horror movie trailers when the audience was there to see a PG movie. There were several parents/families that were audibly upset that we heard. They were not expecting such graphic/horror trailers as IT 2 to be shown at a PG comedy. Now to end on a positive note: -new seats recline and were comfy -while waiting for snacks I saw a man making pizza, meaning their pizza is freshly made not frozen -the audio was loud but not too loud I wish there was more positives, but honestly I loved the movie and the crowd was great. So I had a good time, but very little of it had to do with the theater itself. But the crowd and movie saved this from being a 1 star review. Also I must note this was a Saturday night, so being this severely understaffed/undertrained is unforgivable. Friday and Saturday are a movies money making days. Someone should've been there to make sure it went well but I never saw any kind of management helping employees or customers.

I lived on the east coast for over 20 years - mostly in Boston and NY, but I then moved to Chicago and Louisville. And while I love those places there is absolutely no "Italian" food to speak of. I didn't realize what a deficit I had been in until I saw what was offered here. Fresh cannoli, eggplant parmigiana pizza, WHITE PIZZA (IYKYK), sausage and peppers, beef sandwiches, and the thing that really brought me to my knees - tomato pie. For those that dont know, tomato pie is a thick slathering of tomato sauce on a thick piece of dough, and a bit of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It is so simple, yet SO GODDAMNED DELICIOUS. I remember having it all the time as a kid and when I moved to Chicago people thought I was crazy when I asked about it. They thought I was looking for that elementary school pizza that is cut into squares. That stuff is NOT the same and when I saw real! tomato! pie! here I threw my wallet at them and said take my money. Now before you think I was here simply to gorge myself and be rolled out like Violet Beauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory you would be correct, but also there was music, and entertainment, and the people watching was elite. And even though the cheap ticket is $190 for one days event, the thing sells out in minutes every year. We attempted to book a room at the facility but discovered it had sold out, even though we were investigating this the minute we found out the date. We ended up booking at another resort, ten minutes away. They had a shuttle bus to get you to the Cigar-fest. Why a shuttle bus? BECAUSE PARKING SUCKS! The lots were maxed, we ended up parking halfway up a ski slope. Yah, did I say ski slope? Yes. Which wouldnt be that bad if the lifts were working but having to climb these things to get back to your car can be a workout. Some front wheel drive vehicles were just spinning their tires in the grass trying to get up the hill. " GIT BACK DOWN THAT HILL AND FIND A SHUTTLEBUS!" Stood in line for an hour, smoking cubans with a bunch of other cigar fans. No, theres no cubans for sale here. Once the line got moving, it didnt take long to get inside. What does your $190 get you? You walk in the door and are handed a duffle bag like some kinda drug mule. Its heavy, its blue, it has the cigarfest logo on it. Inside was a heavy ashtray shaped like a tire, with a drew estate logo on it. There was also a humidor, preloaded with cigars, a bottle opener, and a heavy steel cigar holder. The cigarfest 2019 logo was painted on the top. You strap on the dufflebay and configure it so that you can add stuff to it on the fly. You will need it. since they hand you a ticket laden necklace, printed upside down so you can just look down at your chest and read the numbers on the tickets. Each ticket coincides with the numbers on various booths. Where you submit your ticket to the 'guy in a suit', t-shirt, girl in bikini, Rocky Patel, or whoever, and they hand you a cigar. So now you need to find space in your bag for another 50 cigars. How are the cigars? Mixed bag! Theres some mediocre whateveh's, but theres also some really tasty stuff. We visited the CI international super store that was about an hour away, and I picked up a $12 AVO, remembering the last one I smoked twenty years ago, but put it down because, well.. it was 12 bucks for a dlnky cigar, well, there was a free one in the cigarfest dufflebag . Sooooo, yah theres some decent stuff. Is that duffle bag worth $190 bucks? You get a free BBQ. And theres a variety of booze manufacturers giving shot glasses of free beer, meade, whiskey, whatevers. And you get to walk through giant clouds of cigar smoke. Everybody is friendly, and happy to be there. So. Its like paying $190 bucks for a party where you get a lot of free stuff and somebody is gonna win a raffle ticket JEEP. Join the CI Nation!

We usually pay for the 12:30 entrance. The gifts and cigars are worth it. The food is satisfactory and the band is always good. It gets extremely packed so be for warned. You will also need to be patient. The line is very long depending when you get there. Parking is also a chore If you get there late. This year it rained and was a bit chilly outside, but was fine once you got in the building. The tent got a little flooded ijnside from the rain so if you know it's a rainy day, don't wear nice shoes. I would recommend this even for any cigar enthusiast. It's really well worth the money spent. Just remember about pre registering to purchase tickets. You snooze, you lose!

I saw my first play there over twenty years ago - it was Annie 2: Miss Hannigan's Revenge, the sequel to the popular musical. I've since attended many more productions, both musical and dramatic, at the Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre. The quality of the plays will vary from show to show depending on a number of factors, but the passion of those performing onstage and working behind-the-scenes is always consistent. Most of the artists mounting these productions are volunteers or working for very little money - every show is truly a labor of love. Every citizen should support their local community theater and attend at least one show per season.
