If you're not, you might just shoot right on by, sort of like I did. A quick u-turn later, the family was happy with what we found. There was what seemed to be a nicely varied and well staffed and stocked driving range with standard booths, a field area for iron work, a sand trap and a practice green to simulate all sorts of golfing conditions. What we were there for, though, was mini-golf. After navigating the self-serve machine to pay our entrance fees and get our balls and putters, we were treated to a very interesting and well-maintained course. It was just challenging enough to keep the adults interested while not being too overwhelming for the kids. A very nice balance. Staff was friendly and opened the main building to allow the kids to use the bathroom. Due to COVID, all food services are currently suspended. There aren't a ton of family-friendly activities to do when visiting Danville, but this place 100% fits the bill.

Then the bar was out of stock (although the bar experience was amazing). Fairways were like the fringe, greens were slower than a snail. Then when we got there you aren't allowed to drive the cart into the parking lot so you have to carry your clubs or coolers to the carts(don't mind but very annoying). Then went into pay and I was overcharged and the guy at the register was rude to our group. Going to tee 1 the course looked very nice. Overall the course was nice except a few swampy areas. The worst part is the cart paths, they probably have to do maintenance on all their carts because the paths tear them up. Terrible riding experience. My friends and I all said we are never coming back!

Eagles Mere Country Club has a fairly limited menu which appears to be based on a rotating dishes revolving around about twelve basic ingredients: filet, portobello mushrooms, shrimp, crab, lamb chop, lobster, a pasta dish, etc. The same two salads appear on every dinner menu. This makes for a boring set of menu choices if one dines there with any frequency. Some of the more "interesting items" on the menu include honey mustard apparently mixed with mint jelly or a steak with a shrimp on top. Yikes! There is a serious lack of the food "vision thing" here. Prices are completely overpriced for the poor fare you will be served. In fact Eagles Mere Country Club fixes its prices as if it were located in a large city, when in fact prices for the same items in a city would be less. Also in a city, you will likely have a choice of more modern dishes instead of the old worn out dishes from years ago Eagles Mere County Club serves. In addition, the food is inconsistent in the sense that the same menu item may be acceptable one time and far below acceptable another time. So, basically the food is poor, the menu items get boring really fast, and the prices are far too expensive for what one gets. I would recommend trying the Crestmont instead, as this establishment seems to have a much more enlightened approach to food and drink.
