Updating my previous review based on how this motel is handling the scamdemic situation. Many businesses have gone under over this idiocy and others have gone to insane lengths to accommodate tyrannical orders that have no basis in scientific fact. This place, in contrast has made lemonaid out of lemons so to speak. The room was great, as always. The staff was great, as always. They no longer have a breakfast buffet.... most motels have stopped offering it while not reducing their room rates. The Eagle's view came up with an interesting solution. You fill out a menu of what you want in the morning and when you'll show up and hot coffee and all the goodies you ordered are waiting when you get there. Being a big eater I was concerned that the portions would be skimpy. But the gal working the b'fast really heaped on the food. It was great! This motel has always been the best lodging in town (by far). Always stay here when we're in town. read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Joseph. We had a great 4 night stay. The people are wonderful and helpful. We used the pool and hot tub. The included breakfast is good and they make the cutest French toast you can imagine. The premise is well maintained and clean. I definitely would stay here again. read more

We have really enjoyed staying here in the past ..the pool ..the hot tub ..the quiet setting but it was different this time!! We were spending a night away from home for our 40th wedding anniversary and suddenly at 1 something in the middle of the night there was an AWFULLY loud siren went off and kept going off and flashing lights! There didn't seem to be much explanation for it at the front desk and after a good while it went off. It's hard to rest peacefully the remainder of the night after that! read more

A very cute motel located in enterprise oregon! The views of the mountains are amazing. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Friendly staff. I had high hopes for this stay but was a little put off when I woke up to get coffee and found a lady setting out breakfast not wearing gloves or washing her hands after touching non food items. She would go between touching door handles in the dining room to placing food out bare handed. She opened the bag of bagels placing them in the container on the counter. Once in container she touched each bagel individually again. Maybe I'm a germaphobe but I was pretty put off by that! I did end up getting coffee and breakfast elsewhere after seeing that. read more

This is the 5th time that we have stayed at Eagle's View Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful. Amy who works the front desk goes above and beyond. The rooms are clean. The pool and hot tub are clean. When we return to the Joseph area, we will be staying here again. And....the view is spectacular! read more

The rooms were large and were clean. During the heat wave, the airconditioner worked well, and kept the room comfortable. There were quality items in the bathroom, for taking a shower, large sizes of soap and shampoo. Breakfast was included with the room price, and was hot and fresh. Lots of breakfast items. Always wondered how this place was and after the local motels in town seemed to have no interest in answering email or even phone calls... I reserved a room at Eagle View Inn. Wow, so impressed. Very nice and professional front desk. Room was super clean, bed was nice, bathroom well dressed as was the pool and hottub. Will definitely be back. We stayed here for two nights in August. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. The beds were a bit firm for me but not awful. The free breakfast was very limited. The view was awesome. It was a good hotel for the price. read more

We online researched the area from La Grande through Enterprise for a place to stay. Internet reviews do a lot to help us make a decision about where to stay and we could find very little good said about anyplace in northeast Oregon except Eagle's View Inn in Enterprise. We decided to give the place a try even though it was almost an hour from our final destination. We're glad we did, because Eagle's View Inn is one of the nicest places to stay we have ever been in. Our room was spotless, Wifi worked well, the staff were very professional and helpful, Our breakfast was far better than we expected, and the view from our room was spectacular. We would both recommend Eagle's View Inn to anybody visiting the northeast Oregon area. We'll be back. read more

They're very nice about being pet friendly. I really appreciated the food and water bowls, poopy bags, treat, and pet-proof bedding that was waiting for us in the room. My dog loved walking around in the back as well! read more

We spent 2 nights here. It is a convenient location and clean but is in need of repairs. The bathroom sink had troubles and the air conditioner worked sometimes. The pillows are uncomfortable. The hot tub was cold but to the staff credit they were able to adjust the temperature. Don't even bother with the breakfast. read more

This was my first time traveling to the North West corner of the US... needless to say the rural town of Joseph, OR. I found all of the staff to be very interested in making my accommodations, as well as my business teams the best possible. I wasn't accustomed to them early closing hours of the front desk, nor did I think the breakfast was the best provided there was dry cereals, with eggs and waffles but no healthy options. However, my room was clean, the wifi was reliable, and I really couldn't find many other complaints. read more

We were able to check in last minute at this hotel. Staff as very friendly, room was clean and they gave many soaps and shampoos. The bed was firm but comfy. The pillows were a bit poofy but we usually bring our own so no problem. The hot tub and pool were clean and warm. We were able to park so we could see the car out the window, which was nice. The views are very nice. They have newer technology than a lot of hotels do by using wifi key cards, which makes it easy to go in and out to vape or smoke. The continental breakfast was meh. I have been to Enterprise on numerous occasions. This was my first stay at the Eagle's View Inn and Suites. I was met, upon arrival, by a disheveled woman who appeared to be confused by the tasks of checking in a guest. I had, on the website, requested an upstairs room. When I was given a downstairs room I asked that it be changed per my request. I was told that the reservation website isn't their personal site and comments are not included in the reservation and, besides, I should have called them. So the room could not be changed. I asked if every room in the hotel was taken and was told that she could not tell! I said, "You don't know who is in each room or even if a room is occupied?" with incredulity filling my voice. Not a great first impression and since I am a woman traveling alone being placed on the ground floor is the height of mismanagement. If you don't understand that statement look up Connie Francis vs. Howard Johnson. The next morning the breakfast consisted of sugared cereals, cheap and tasteless 'bagels', English muffins and bread, bruised or very damaged bananas and apples, a non-functioning waffle maker and dishwasher coffee. At this point the woman who checked me in was replenishing napkins and looked more slatternly than the previous day, if that was possible. She was also pushing around a washcloth in an ineffectual manner while allowing table tops to remain dirty. The room was clean. The wi-fi good. The sheeting rough. The a/c functioned only on high and the rest of the time it simply acted as a fan and this week was unseasonably hot. Needless to say, I won't be staying at this establishment again. read more

We stayed here for our first-time visit to the Wallowas, Joseph and Enterprise. The location is great - right off the road, and up the hill, sitting facing the gorgeous mountains and overlooking part of the town below. Yesterday we got a beautiful view of the mountains from our window (ask for a second floor room with a view). Today, sadly the whole area, and actually, most of the Pacific NW was blanketed with haze and smoke from all the fires burning out west, so no view possible. The desk staff was very pleasant, and helpful. There is no elevator, but they had us park down toward the end where the stairs are, and unload from there, so that helped, and the staircase is really not that bad, even for me and my arthritic knees. :) The room was very nice, considering it's in a smaller town. We did have DirecTV satellite! Pretty standard: toiletries are upgraded and from Eco, a little fridge in the room for leftovers, or keeping drinks cold, a microwave, and an A/C unit that works well (although, we opened up the window to let fresh night air in, and that was really nice to be able to do). If the inn was renovated and updated just a little more (it needs new tile in the bathroom, new drapes, pictures and more contemporary paint/or wallpaper, I would have gladly given it 5 stars. It wouldn't take much to make it more contemporary. It was fine though... just a little dated. The check out went smoothly, although the desk clerk didn't ask how our stay was, nor did she thank us for staying there. She was busy though on the phone, and the only one at the desk. I'd recommend this to friends though, and we will definitely be back. read more
