I found EAP, Erin on yelp. I had a tricky situation with my taxes and after it putting in 3 different softwares, they all came up VERY different. I called the IRS and they referred me to whoever generated the 1099. I called them and they referred me to "my tax person". I re-read the tax law and thought....come on...I can read...I really don't like the online systems as if you can't understand the tax law, and know when they are are shorting you....you lose. I called Erin and honestly explained my situation and she interpreted the tax law as I did, and filed our taxes. I am not sure every tax person could have read the law and understood it. In all sincerity, Erin's responsiveness and professionalism made this by best experience yet! I moved to Orange County less than a week ago and I did not know any tax professionals or really anyone for that matter. I left a voicemail and that same afternoon, within just a couple of hours, Erin returned my call and we began discussing my 2015 taxes. I let her know that I would be traveling on business the next day for the rest of the week and weekend, but I preferred to meet in person for the first time. She arranged for me to meet her at her office the same day, we went over all of my taxes, and by the following day, my taxes were completely finished and e-filed.
