    My review is one star because I was told my appointment had to be rescheduled because Dr Duran…read moreneeded to be out of the office that afternoon. The receptionist said she would reschedule my appointment when I dropped by to pick up my hearing aide supplies, which happened to be at the time of my canceled appointment. Dr Duran was indeed there and someone else had been given my 2:30 appointment. If I had been told there was a schedule conflict, there would be no problem, but I was lied to twice. I've found Dr Duran to be a very competent Audiologist, but there is an office/ scheduling problem, honesty problem. Having an appointment takes a big chunk out of my day, in addition to driving in the crazy traffic. I expect respect and honesty, not underhandedly giving my appointment to someone else. JL

I am acutely aware of when I am being rushed through an appointment because the provider, understandably, has a lot of pressure due to the nature of the work. Dr. Durand is no exception as far as a total commitment to her patience is concerned. As far as taking an active interest in providing the best care possible, she is a notable exception. dr. Doran spent an incredibly patient amount of time with me, and while I was in her care, the only thing I felt that matter to her was my betterment. Dr. Duran is warm, personable, professional, competent, and 100% dedicated to the welfare of her patients. It is with a complete degree of confidence and a complete lack of hesitation that I recommend Dr. Duran and Gulf Coast Audiology as the best healthcare provider in southwest Florida to preserve the health of one's hearing. She and her staff are AMAZING! En adición, ella habla español. What a find for me, her current patients, and her future patients!

    Hear USA May be alright to start with, but after they have you, they dump on you. I purchased a…read morepair of Widex hearing aids 4 1/2 years ago and they were fine. Now it was time to replace them, so I went back to the same Hear USA office for replacement. They had no interest in selling me another pair of Widexhearing aids. They insisted that I should buy Signa aids instead. They were 40% cheaper than the Widex. I tried them for 40 days and had nothing but trouble with them. Bluetooth would not stay connected and only way to reconnect them was to remove the app from my phone and reinstall it. This caused all programmed information to be deleted.This would happen 2 or 3 times a day. So step count etc. was lost each time. I kept asking about Widex but the tech wouldn't hear me. I asked about their Horizon IX that they advertise as the newest and greatest hearing aid and they didn't want to talk about Them either. I returned the hearing aids on the 41st day of my 45 day trial and was told that my money would be refunded in 4 to 7 days. It has been 2 months and still no money. Plus they said that they were charging me $150.00 restock fee. I can understand a restock fee if I just returned them, but after 4 or 5 trips to the provider and they still couldn't make them work right, I don't feel that I should have to pay a restock fee on a pair of defective hearing aids. I have called several times asking about my refund and am told that the paperwork hasn't been properly summitted. WHOSE FAULT IT THAT! NOT MY FAULT! Yesterday I received a call from my provider, offering to sell me Widex. Imagine that, I am not foolish enough to give them a second chance to scam me. BEWARE OF HEAR USA !
