Where can I even begin. Paid $1700 a little over a month ago because my car stopped accelerating,…read moreand all the lights came on the dash. They said it was sparks and coils, which was $1300 alone, plus all the other maintenance work we had done to get it road trip ready- as we knew we had a trip coming up. Well, time for our road trip, we're (myself, my husband and my 1 year old) on the road for about 4.5 hours, and lo and behold, there is the check engine light- followed by all the lights coming on, followed by us not being to accelerate, and eventually losing A/C and cruise control. Seeing as we were in the middle of nowhere, we cruised to a stopping point, waited till morning and brought it to a local shop just to see if it was drivable to get it to a different Christian Brothers location- with the closest one being an hour away. I spent that whole morning on the phone with Christian Brothers Weatherford trying to figure out if our warranty would cover whatever we were about to have to pay at this small shop, the answer was basically no, unless I wanted to file a claim, even though the car was doing the exact same thing we just spent nearly $2k getting "fixed". Got stranded there for a week. Finally picked the car up, spent $200 just to get the codes cleared and told it was fine to drive. Finally got back on the road to get to our road trip destination a week and a half later, and after 2 hours of driving there was the check engine light, and I was once again stranded overnight. I can't even begin to express how angry I was. Luckily we were in a town that had a Christian Brothers, I called and explained the situation to them, and they were very apologetic and made it right asap. Turns out it was a camshaft sensor, they fixed it asap, charged me $200 and said they have no idea why the Weatherford shop did what they did, and that I was lucky it didn't break down completely while driving. Now here we are, 2 weeks later, finally driving home. This has been one of the most stressful experiences for us, I'm not even sure if there's something that would make this right for us. I just know we won't be back.

I set up an appointment to have a broken wheel stud replaced, at that time I requested an estimate…read morebut never received one. When I arrived to get the work done, I was told it would be $350. That was easily twice what I had expected. I declined the work and went to NAPA auto parts, bought a new stud, went home and did it myself in 1 1/2 hours. It cost me $16.93. I understand overhead and having to pay employees, but holy cow, let's at least try to be fair and reasonable. I feel bad for people who don't know any better or don't have the means or knowledge to repair things. For a place called "Christian Brothers," I sure didn't feel like they were looking out for their fellow man.

Very disappointed with my experience here. First got an oil change and they replaced the cabin…read morefilter. Whe I got my car back the ac fan was super loud so I got out and asked the mechanic about it. He said he thought something had dropped down but it should go away in a couple of days. It didn't. So two weeks later my engine light goes on and took it back to see what it was and they told me a vacuum seal needed replacing. They could do it on Thursday. I showed up then and the guy I talked to wasn't there and the other guy said very sternly he would need it a week to diagnose it. I reminded him I was told they could do it and the price quoted but he said nope. Won't be back. Very poor customer service.

Today I stopped @ the W'frd shop as a 'test' of mrktng blather or truth in advertising. Blaine, Mikah, the team and the techs there were 100% as advertised. Without hesitation, they immediately drove and inspected my car to determine the source of my/it's issues. Tests were done, Q&As were exchanged among us and the results determined that, despite questionable sounds, every test, comparison and measurement, my car seemed to be in safe and good working order. Blaine said he'd reach out to other human and digital sources, describe the perceived/known problems/noise and would call me should any new opinions be offered. This business and these men are a FOR PROFIT establishment and COULD have certainly tried to convince me that I should let them 'do such and such' to try and solve the issue. Not only did they NOT try that tactic, they REFUSED to accept ANY compensation from me for the work they did in the investigation process! I am no novice and could have recognized an attempt to 'lead me' into spending some money with them..that NEVER happened.. I grew up in a small town so I can unequivocally say that it has been DECADES since I have had such a unique, honest, professional, unexpected and enjoyable interaction with auto mechanics....like small towns USED to have...with these men and this company! I called to speak to the owner, Brandon Waters, to relate my experience and spoke with John Lobato, a KINGWAY Manager in Aledo.. He was gracious, most appreciative and was happy to hear that 'his guys' are doing and being what they were hired to do! BOTTOM LINE..Folks.. take your car problems to them.. In my opinion, THEY are the REAL DEAL, the needle in the auto mechanics haystack. Rodney Gray Aledo, TX

I was informed of what and why this work was needed, then notified when work was completed. I felt treated as a valued customer. Very disappointed to say the least…read more First, I initially contacted them, it was difficult to get an actual person on the phone. Communications were mainly conducted through text. Second, once I was able to finally schedule an appointment, I was quoted $200 for the repairs/install. And I was told it would be ready the following business day. The young man in the office that got me checked in had no clue who I was and had no idea what I was having done. So who I was communicating with on text, discovered later to be the owner, obviously did not communicate to the office. Third, the following business day came and gone and I was not contacted. Two days in I reached out and was told there pipe bending machine was down and it was going to be a couple more days. Oh, and it was also going to be $400, not $200 because they "misunderstood" what needed to be done (maybe you should call customers then, not text them). I eventually got the truck back six days later and paid the $400. After getting it back, we took it on a trip about an hour away. When we got there, we could hear some rattling coming from the exhaust near the headers. As I looked further, all six collector bolts and nuts on BOTH sides of the truck were loose! And one of the nuts had actually fallen off. As I looked even closure, there were old bolts and nuts mixed with my new bolts and nuts I supplied them with! Lastly, what irritated me the most about all of the above is I reached out to speak to the owner to see if they would make it right like a business should. Especially after paying for a professional service and not getting what you paid for, what you were originally quoted and when you were told it would be returned to you. I GOT NO CALL BACK. Not even a text. So I absolutely feel a one star is appropriate. I'd give a zero if I could. Had you called me back and communicated like a business man should, this may have been avoided. I would not give your money to this place. Go elsewhere.
