Where can I even begin. Paid $1700 a little over a month ago because my car stopped accelerating,…read moreand all the lights came on the dash. They said it was sparks and coils, which was $1300 alone, plus all the other maintenance work we had done to get it road trip ready- as we knew we had a trip coming up. Well, time for our road trip, we're (myself, my husband and my 1 year old) on the road for about 4.5 hours, and lo and behold, there is the check engine light- followed by all the lights coming on, followed by us not being to accelerate, and eventually losing A/C and cruise control. Seeing as we were in the middle of nowhere, we cruised to a stopping point, waited till morning and brought it to a local shop just to see if it was drivable to get it to a different Christian Brothers location- with the closest one being an hour away. I spent that whole morning on the phone with Christian Brothers Weatherford trying to figure out if our warranty would cover whatever we were about to have to pay at this small shop, the answer was basically no, unless I wanted to file a claim, even though the car was doing the exact same thing we just spent nearly $2k getting "fixed". Got stranded there for a week. Finally picked the car up, spent $200 just to get the codes cleared and told it was fine to drive. Finally got back on the road to get to our road trip destination a week and a half later, and after 2 hours of driving there was the check engine light, and I was once again stranded overnight. I can't even begin to express how angry I was. Luckily we were in a town that had a Christian Brothers, I called and explained the situation to them, and they were very apologetic and made it right asap. Turns out it was a camshaft sensor, they fixed it asap, charged me $200 and said they have no idea why the Weatherford shop did what they did, and that I was lucky it didn't break down completely while driving. Now here we are, 2 weeks later, finally driving home. This has been one of the most stressful experiences for us, I'm not even sure if there's something that would make this right for us. I just know we won't be back.

I set up an appointment to have a broken wheel stud replaced, at that time I requested an estimate…read morebut never received one. When I arrived to get the work done, I was told it would be $350. That was easily twice what I had expected. I declined the work and went to NAPA auto parts, bought a new stud, went home and did it myself in 1 1/2 hours. It cost me $16.93. I understand overhead and having to pay employees, but holy cow, let's at least try to be fair and reasonable. I feel bad for people who don't know any better or don't have the means or knowledge to repair things. For a place called "Christian Brothers," I sure didn't feel like they were looking out for their fellow man.

Whe I got my car back the ac fan was super loud so I got out and asked the mechanic about it. He said he thought something had dropped down but it should go away in a couple of days. It didn't. So two weeks later my engine light goes on and took it back to see what it was and they told me a vacuum seal needed replacing. They could do it on Thursday. I showed up then and the guy I talked to wasn't there and the other guy said very sternly he would need it a week to diagnose it. I reminded him I was told they could do it and the price quoted but he said nope. Won't be back. Very poor customer service.

Today I stopped @ the W'frd shop as a 'test' of mrktng blather or truth in advertising. Blaine, Mikah, the team and the techs there were 100% as advertised. Without hesitation, they immediately drove and inspected my car to determine the source of my/it's issues. Tests were done, Q&As were exchanged among us and the results determined that, despite questionable sounds, every test, comparison and measurement, my car seemed to be in safe and good working order. Blaine said he'd reach out to other human and digital sources, describe the perceived/known problems/noise and would call me should any new opinions be offered. This business and these men are a FOR PROFIT establishment and COULD have certainly tried to convince me that I should let them 'do such and such' to try and solve the issue. Not only did they NOT try that tactic, they REFUSED to accept ANY compensation from me for the work they did in the investigation process! I am no novice and could have recognized an attempt to 'lead me' into spending some money with them..that NEVER happened.. I grew up in a small town so I can unequivocally say that it has been DECADES since I have had such a unique, honest, professional, unexpected and enjoyable interaction with auto mechanics....like small towns USED to have...with these men and this company! I called to speak to the owner, Brandon Waters, to relate my experience and spoke with John Lobato, a KINGWAY Manager in Aledo.. He was gracious, most appreciative and was happy to hear that 'his guys' are doing and being what they were hired to do! BOTTOM LINE..Folks.. take your car problems to them.. In my opinion, THEY are the REAL DEAL, the needle in the auto mechanics haystack. Rodney Gray Aledo, TX

The photos are jumbled up but I did the best I could with descriptions on all. This business was…read moresuggested by a mechanic I trusted. Boy, I should have trusted my gut and went to Christian Brothers instead. Anyway, when I went to pick up my vehicle I told them I was using Snap Finance. They did not disclose any other charges before setting up the agreement. They chose the percentage down and had me pay their portion they'd be charged by Snap Finance. And the $39 processing fee is standard with Snap Finance. I'd been using it for almost 2 years now, never a problem. They set up one agreement and then claimed it wasn't sent through on their end, even though I received it, and said they would contact customer support. He then went to his office and set up an entirely different agreement with a higher percentage down. So I paid the $188.30 down payment, $39 processing fee, and $41.58 they get charged. But the first agreement is being upheld by Snap Finance and they only recognize the $140.58 down payment and the $39 processing fee. So now I am feeling cheated bc not only did I pay more than the first contract I also am being charged twice the taxes. It's my fault I didn't look at the agreements and question them, first time dealing with this shop plus I really wanted my vehicle back after a long wait (about 5 days). They didn't itemize anything in the Snap Finance agreement, put everything under oil change. All the other shops I've used itemize everything and never had a problem paying what was said I owed. When I called SF customer support there were no notes on my account for when 2033 Auto "called" and they didn't understand why there was two agreements. Only the first one is being honored. And the shop got paid twice from SF but was corrected after I called, they did not call to amend the issue so they would have gotten away with it had I not brought it to SF attention. And I would have had to pay twice over had they not cancelled the second agreement. *The price of labor cannot be higher than the price of parts. They are not to charge state tax because Snap Finance charges taxes according to state. The percentage down is exclusive to the shop and has nothing to do with Snap Finance.* This is according to Snap Finance and can be verified with them. In my own opinion, this shop is not honest or trustworthy. I'd highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

A high IPR percentage would indicate the need to replace the HPOP, NOT a low percentage. Also, I guess "low" and "high" are their "technical" terms. How about what percent and if it was under load?!? I brought it in with and ICP code (P2284) and they called to tell me it was an IPR code, when I argued and told them the IPR is brand new and the code was an ICP code, they said I was wrong, and then reset my codes. When I asked why they reset my codes, they said it gets reset automatically when hooked up to the computer. When I insisted that was not correct, he then said, it reset with a new part installed. Nothing was replaced. Why wasn't the ICP voltage tested?!?
