We liked our other center but were nervous about my son moving up from his infant class. He loves to learn but also be nurtured. A spot opened up at Eastside and we jumped at the opportunity. Lacey (director) and his teachers were immediately welcoming. They helped him transition and he began to flourish. He was doing well at the previous center but he really blossomed. Eastside does a wonderful job appreciating my son for his uniqueness while helping to inspire development. His teachers have always been extremely caring, communicative, and supportive. I highly, highly recommend this center.

As an only child, he learned to share and deal with conflicts at Eastside. As he got a bit older, he learned to help the younger kids, something he still does with his younger cousins and friend's siblings. plus he made good friends. We still arrange get-togethers now that they are in 8th grade. Eastside was always excellent to work with, even that time my son filled all the toilets with paper towels. Shout out to Ms. Lacey!

While it was a little hard to find, initially, Song of the Heart has a very inviting and friendly space. Initially I wasn't sure if the class I attended was going to be active enough for my 22 month old, but by the time the class ended, he wanted to stay! He had a great time with the musical activities, and the pace was pretty great. As I mentioned before, some of the activities are "quieter", which wasn't a huge sell with my little guy. But I am going to guess that he will get used to that and it will be a good thing for me. One of the things that impressed me is that they seem to have a bunch of different capabilities there, with a few different music studios. Everything was clean and well-cared for. Our toddler started at the school in August 2025 and he has LOVED it. Not only has he been safe, nurtured, and loved - he has also learned and developed a great deal and has made many new friends. His ability to maintain concentration, complete tasks independently, and verbalize thoughts and emotions has grown leaps and bounds. Indeed, Foothill Montessori is not just a daycare for toddlers and infants - the curriculum and staff provide schooling and learning just like they do for any other age group. I can't say enough good things about my son's Teachers (called "Guides"). Their respect for each child and their ability to teach and manage toddlers - all while maintaining utmost safety within the classroom - is second to none! The curriculum also includes a fantastic music program (which our little guy adores), as well as specific emotional / social development teaching by a dedicated (and amazing) staff-person. Not only have the education and experiences been great for our little guy, but the setting itself is nothing short of pristine. Most other schools (and especially daycares) are slightly dingy and also noisy. Not Foothill Montessori. The building is beautiful, light-filled, and extremely well-maintained. And it's shockingly quiet when you walk the halls. The Teachers / Guides are clearly super-engaged and cultivating an environment that keeps the youngsters' attentions. Most important, the entire staff knows and cares for each and every child. The leadership team and front-office staff seem to know everyone's name. I've observed them greeting by name every single parent and child who enters the school - from infants all the way up to 6th graders. I love dropping our son off to school, as I've come to consider the staff as good friends. And we've also been able to connect with fellow parents and enjoy playdates with other children. In addition to our toddler, we will be enrolling our infant daughter in a few months. All this to say -- I can't recommend Foothill Montessori enough and would give more than 5 stars if I could!

5/5 Stars - The Best Decision We Ever Made…read more Before we found Grace Lutheran, we had a really hard time finding good, consistent care for our son. Even when we did find something promising, frequent staff turnover or class transitions would downgrade an average situation to a below-average one. I can't tell you how many times my son would cry during drop-off and pick-up. He also came home with scratches and bites almost daily--understandable for two-year-olds, but it was excessive. The final straw came when he moved up to a new class and the care quality dropped again. That's when I reached out to friends for advice. Two friends highly recommended Grace--one who had since moved out of state and another who still sends her son there. She told me it was the best move they ever made. Funny enough, my husband also attended Grace in 4th grade and always had amazing things to say every time we drove by. We scheduled a tour and instantly felt like we had found the right place. We moved our son to Grace when he was two. He's now four, and we also started our daughter there this past September when she turned two. It's truly the best decision we've ever made. Neither of our kids has ever cried at drop-off or pick-up. In fact, it's the complete opposite--my son runs into class, thrilled to start his day, and my daughter leaps out of my arms without even saying goodbye. They've never come home with a scratch or bite. Grace is special. It's not just a school--it's a community. The teachers genuinely care about the children and are passionate about early education. My son's preschool teacher has gone above and beyond to prepare him for kindergarten a year ahead of time, using creative and engaging learning activities that not only meet curriculum goals but also support the whole child--nurturing their creativity and emotional development. I truly cannot express how much we appreciate this school. Grace Lutheran is a gift, and we are so grateful to be part of it.
