I reached out to John and he was here that afternoon to access the fallen tree and how best to get it off of my house. He gave me a price to remove the entire tree, haul away all of debris and grind out the stump. Mind you this tree was every bit of 6' at the base and was not a small task. The very next day John and his crew were at my house clearing the tree that was against the structure taking every measure not to do any further damage. Once that was done they proceeded to take the rest of the tree down taking every precaution to minimize damage to my yard. Once the tree was down and removed they ground out the stump, raked up and left as little impact as they possibly could considering the scope of the job. A month later I had the misfortune of finding a huge crack in in a 120' tall pine tree that looked to be ready to let go at any moment and that too would have made a direct hit on my home. I called John and he was at my house that very same day to look at the job. He secured the tree with straps at the cracked portion and assured me he would rearrange his schedule and get here that Saturday to start the removal of the tree as this was a priority. Well John and his crew did NOT show up on Saturday, they showed up earlier on Friday because we were due for a storm on Saturday and John did not want to leave it to chance for that tree to come down. He climbed that tree and limbed it off to reduce the exposure it would have during the storm. He returned that Sunday with his crew and proceeded to take the rest of the tree down, chipped it up and when they left at the end of the day you couldn't ask for a neater job. If you need a tree removed this is with-out a doubt the most professional, on time, reactive company out there that will do a quality job and you will get the best value for your money and I am willing to put my name to this testimonial. Canopy arrived & said he would send a quote. After a few days, he did not respond so I called and left a message. He then quoted $1200 on March 24 via email. We immediately accepted & he wrote back that he would be in touch ASAP to schedule. We emailed on 4/3 for an appoximate date and then never heard back. Suggestion to Dilorenzo, Canopy and other small businesses: All you have to do is TELL the customer that you are not interested, job is too small, too big, too far. Whatever. Just communicate. We will be fine and look elsewhere.

They were quick to arrive, kept two appointments digging the channel and burying the culvert. Rather than get a third culvert, they advised that too much erosion below would result, and that instead they would bring in a load of rock to cover with soil to complete the task. That was in May. They took payment for the whole job at that time, even though it wasn't complete. After a couple of exchanged texts and brief replies over the summer like "of course we'll come back", they have now blocked me from sending text messages to their number and have evidently decided to keep the money for the remainder of the project and not return? It has now been over two months since they promised they would return. They did good work with the initial part of the project and were a pleasure to work with. I did not frequently text them, I'm not sure what happened, but they did not finish my project and the kept the remainder of the funds.

He did a great job trimming the shrubs. Unfortunately he could not clean out the beds as requested. Our understanding was that he would dig everything out of the beds. Instead he weed whacked everything and it all grew back. He also agreed to cut down a small tree which he did not do. I have contacted him since last October to find out if he was planning to come take the tree out but he has never gotten back to me. So now we have things growing back, the tree is still here and we have received no response and no refund for the work not done. We are very disappointed.
