Within a few weeks I found I needed to cancel the order, but was told it was in process and couldn't be canceled. I requested an ETD with no response. After two months, I contacted the office. After waiting another week for an answer, I was told that the order had been canceled but the salesperson was no longer with company and had not informed the office. While my money was promptly refunded, it was tied up for almost two months. Despite the office managers assurances that the situation was not up to the standards of Budget Blinds, I feel uncomfortable using them again.

This is pretty simple. We ordered almost $2000 worth of blinds. That's just two blinds. When we…read moreordered them, we asked for delivery to the house which was an option made available to us. When my wife called on Friday for a status we were told that the blinds had in fact been delivered to their store and we could either wait a week or so for one of their employees to deliver it to us or we could just come and get them. They told my wife that the delivery company ignored their directions. Now, to be clear, it's only a 15 minute drive and I was happy to go pick them up. The issue was when I got there. I waited a good minute at the front desk while three employees stood at a different service counter staring at each other and wondering which one was going to have to come and help me. When one of them finally did, I gave her the name on the order and she indicated that "we don't have blinds under your name". I then gave her my wife's first name and the same last name and she then found the order. She told me that the blinds were in fact in their store somewhere and that she would have to go back and find them. She didn't seem very happy about that. When she finally came out carrying the blinds I offered to help but she dismissed that with a rude, "that's not necessary." Not once did anybody apologize for their failure to deliver the blinds as they had agreed to do originally. Not once did they thank me for our order or for coming to get them in lieu of one of their employees having to bring them out to the house. The lack of courtesy was fascinating to me. I'll never do business with them again.

This is working class West Allis. A quick repair that cost $40 two years ago, now costs $75. Wow!! I have two relatives who just purchased new homes and need window treatments. He was here a total of 15min (based on recorded ring video) and the charge was $125 plus tax. For a blind that cost $250 when installed about 2 years ago. Was never told it was going to be that expensive for someone to come out and repair a blind under warranty. No wonder they can give a "lifetime" warranty - they make up the warranty costs by gouging you on the service. Was told I could bring the blind in next time and they would send it out for repair - it's a bedroom blind!
