From stones and crystals, to books on spellwork and moon phases, spellwork supplies, smudging supplies, oils and incense. The more you look, the more you find. The space is located in a building considered to be historical in downtown Anderson. Once an auction house, it also housed one of my favorite tattoo artists for a time. So I was excited to see what the women who own Twisted Twigs had made of the space, and I was not disappointed. The whole place just radiates with cheery vibes and so many sights and smells that you want to draw in. I would have loved to have collected books from the shelves and curl up in their pile of pillows on the floor and read and drink tea for hours. Alas, I also had others with me, including the toddler granddaughters. I was low on smudging supplies and was pleasantly surprised with their prices. Compared to what I typically pay ordering online, their prices are competitive enough that I'd rather drive up to their shop to buy from them and indulge in the atmosphere and other treats. Yes, they do actually have little cauldrons available for purchase, but they also have lots of crystals and gems, books on yoga and wellness, incense and holders, oils, jewelry, clothing, smudge sticks, tote bags, a few foods and beverages and lots more. The retail store is small but they carry a lot of goods made by local craftspeople and purveyors. You can tell that every single item on display has been carefully considered and lovingly chosen.
