If you're wondering where to get a cauldron for your next batch of spells, this is the place. All jokes aside, The Playful Soul is wonderful, and I can't believe I just discovered it recently. Yes, they do actually have little cauldrons available for purchase, but they also have lots of crystals and gems, books on yoga and wellness, incense and holders, oils, jewelry, clothing, smudge sticks, tote bags, a few foods and beverages and lots more. The retail store is small but they carry a lot of goods made by local craftspeople and purveyors. You can tell that every single item on display has been carefully considered and lovingly chosen. The place smells heavenly, the lighting is lovely, and the air is peaceful in here. It's a nice place. I want to come back and attend one of the yoga classes that they offer each week. THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL! I walked into this shop on a whim and am so grateful that I did! This place offers all kinds of services from apothecary, crystals, healing and wellness, meditation, and yoga classes -- if it's in the holistic / wellness category, I am SURE they offer it! Since walking in on a whim on Friday the 2nd, I have been back 5 times! I have had the pleasure of doing Yoga & meditation with Omar on Sunday mornings and joining their first-ever Book Club meeting last Wednesday. I hate to write this but this is the second time i've been here and had a awful experience. The first time i went in and i needed help with a crystal and no one wanted to help. The lady kept ignoring me and was very quite. The second time there was a man working hitting on another female customer while shopping and was ignoring our questions as well. I love the atmosphere at Playful Soul. I had a tarot reading with Yale and it was very insightful and spot on.

I secret gem. I never knew this place existed but once I found it, I was hooked. I went to a healing session with David on a Saturday and it was wonderful. I was having terrible stomach issues and after a few minutes , he sent me on my way and told me my stomach issues should be resolved. They were! I have not had a stomach issues sense. He comes every month on Saturday mornings from 9-Noon. I will be back. I also love all their locally made jewelry and products. They make wonderful gifts. read more

I really enjoyed my visit to The Playful Soul and might become a regular, ha! I had no idea it was here all these years, but is tucked away in the plaza southwest of Target on E 86th. They have a very unique and expansive selection of spiritual goods, as well as a many practice areas for yoga, Reiki, etc. I plan to checkout the schedule. Where else in Indy can you shop for a gift, stock up on incense, take a chakra workshop, do some downward-facing dog and eat a vegan meal next door? No. Freaking. Where. It's about time a place catered to my inner hippie in a one stop shop. I went in looking for a particular type of incense that is made on the island of Bali. They did not have what I was looking for, but I did spy a few things I may consider buying in the future for a meditation room. Those items would include prayer flags, Buddhist related wall-hangings, essential oils and healing crystals. Below is a list of a few things I wish they had.... or rather, I don't know if they had because the girl at the counter was rather busy talking to the person that sells the crystals to the store. (Letting this slide, but next time... just a 'hello, I'll be with ya soon!' would be so nice!) End of my ramble. Back to the 'would like to see in this shop' list: 1. Meditation cushions - zafu/zabutons 2. Malas - bracelets and necklaces 3. Mala beads to make a bracelet and/or necklace I am very excited about future yoga class offerings that were advertised on a flyer. I saw the space where classes would take place and it is spacious and full of natural light. I love the vibe here. Very chill and welcoming. If you're looking for a place to relax and find yourself, this is the place. I've done a couple meditations here and the people are so sweet. I love the decor and the little meditation pillows they have. There is also a small store where you can buy some crystals as well. Where to start - I went here on a whim and then I fell in total free spirit with this place. It is so calming, relaxing, and well spiritual. I had a reading with Bryan Sanders and it was the most beautiful reading i have had in a long time. You instantly know it's not about the money but about him honoring you and the messages he is receiving. Angelic reading without prodding of questions just from the heart. I will be back Bryan in a couple of months to let you know how it turns out! I went in on a casual pass by because I saw an advertisement for this store in BRANCHES. It was a beautiful building and had a wonderful atmosphere. I appreciate the help I got from both the usual workers there. The prices for stuff were pretty good! I've been to other stores where I can buy crystals and sage (and the like) but its much more expensive. The girl mentioned that being in Ripple made things a bit more expensive, but I didn't notice a difference. They have lots of good products like essential oils, natural beauty care products, organic textile-made clothing, crystals, metaphysical books, and jewelry. I loved the place! read more
