La'Shaya was wonderful to work with. She was patient and kind. She made an awful loss much easier to navigate.

Not…read moreonly did they treat everyone with dignity and respect, but they also made sure our loved ones that left before us was preserved beautifully as well. I don't know how much it cost to have them take care of you from A-Z but I just know whatever it was, it was worth every single penny. They are so thorough. They think of everything! Jerry you run a tight ship and it shows! So very impressed with you and your entire team. What I loved most is how every single place we needed to be was already strategically planned out. You can tell they have done this many times. And they did it well. From the flower placement, the monitors, the hors d'oeuvres, the reception, the drinks, the cold wet towels with the cold water bottles served to us in scorching heat during the burial, the big umbrellas you pulled out of your never ending Mary Poppins type bag for the pallbearers so they could have some shade. Even down to the mini paper fans. The way he was able to relay all of the families request and wishes in a professional manner to the guests. The way every single person on his team was dressed (the garments were so nice) how they continuously presented themselves professionally. They made you feel like you were at the funeral of the President of the United States. (Although, I was told they have done it there before) I think the most impressive thing about this place was how they made the widow feel. In that moment during all the events he was 100% her biggest supporter and gave her the peace of mind she needed while she was grieving. He knew exactly what to do every single time. And he was such an all around nice guy. Very approachable. Great job to Geo H Lewis. I've attended many funerals and this one definitely raised the bar. When you die, the celebration of life is for those that are left behind.

One major complaint…read morewas that the CEO, Douglas Drummond, threaten to cancel my relative's service just two weeks before we had it scheduled. This service had been prepaid by the relative and I was in charge of carrying out the service within the expenses that were offered. In reviewing the expenses there was one cost I was questioning and in doing so, Mr. Drummond took offense to my questioning it and he became angry and agitated to the point that he declared that his funeral home would not honor the contract and would not hold the funeral service. Through some expresson of apolgies on my part he agreed to go forward with the service which we did and it turned out ok. Nothing like threatening a grieving person who is trying to understand the costs as well as having to plan a service only to threaten to cancel the agreement with only two weeks before the service. I will be contacting the Texas Funeral Service Commission to register a complain on Mr. Drummond's ethics and lack of professional empathy

And that is exactly what Claire Brothers Funeral Home did for our family. They beautifully executed my father's homegoing ceremony. They allowed my dad's last "hoorah" to be an accurate depiction of who my father was. And for that, I am deeply grateful that we decided to have our funeral service at Claire Brothers. From the service logistics/arrangement, to the printing of the fliers (going beyond what was expected), to the slideshow, and to the selection of the pianist and psalmist, we were just greatly pleased. I would definitely recommend them to others who are seeking a professional funeral service that allows, yet magnifies the feel of warm intimacy.

The grounds are massive and impeccably maintained with a clearly attentive and caring staff. Beautiful statuary throughout. By 1874, Glenwood was a recreational destination. A mule-drawn street railway operated on Washington Road, conveying people to Glenwood for weekend and holiday visits. Glenwood differs from most urban cemeteries of that time that had a grid pattern. Glenwood has meandering roads and trails and is beautifully landscaped. This historic cemetery is the final resting place of a number of individuals who were citizens of the short-lived Republic of Texas as well as famous citizens of Houston, Harris County and the state of Texas. One of the most famous buried here is Howard Hughes. The cemetery is a fun place to walk or bike ride, it's very shady so quite nice, even in summer. I was there as the new year came and enjoyed seeing many beautiful monuments.

Me and my family went to several different locations in Rosenberg and Richmond and the Southwest area each and everyone of them were out of our budget and if I'm being completely honest, I felt like most of them saw it as a business transaction and didn't show any sympathy For us. It was until we found Winford that they sat with us at a table and explained it in a detail oriented the way to understand step-by-step what was needed what was required and what they were able to do to help us. If anything we felt like God placed us in this location specifically to help us. John work with us in setting everything up and we are so grateful for him. Also, I am beyond grateful for Dexter, who was the one that sat with us at the table and explain to us and had the patience to answer all of our questions without judging or criticizing, and was very understanding. I would recommend this Funeral Home to anyone and if you're thinking about choosing them, I would wwithout a second thought. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us during the difficult.

Also the value for everything was more than reasonable everything was clearly outlined and we knew exactly what we were getting. Service 10/10 professionalism and compassion 10/10.
