As of June 18, 2026, I have yet to receive any additional communication from the establishment or any of their staff. I am confident that the owner does a great job with her massages, which is evident in previous reviews, also a deciding factor for my selection of this location. However, my experience with the staff member that was available was not a good one at all and felt like a complete waste of time and money. A simple apology would have spoken volumes. But as you can see, she didn't know what to say and doubled down on that by not saying anything else at all. As an additional side note, I traveled into Hot Springs, from a city about 45 minutes away, specifically for this Thai massage.

The Buckstaff was built in 1912, and once you enter the locker room you step back in time over 100 years. It's one of 2 operating bathhouses on Bathhouse Row, but the only one that maintains the original feel. The treatments and fixtures are the same as they have been for the last century. I was fortunate to have Ricky as my attendant, who has worked at Buckstaff since 1977. He made sure I had a great experience! I also had an excellent massage from Ryan. I can't recommend Buckstaff Bathhouse enough. Step back in time and enjoy the thermal waters of Hot Springs!

Example, sitz bath I felt it was pointless and the hand treatment. Massage was probably the best thing. She was so sweet. I did the deluxe treatment and my husband did the traditional one. Ok so for husband part of his experience he felt like it was okay. He stated that he sat on the block of wood with trickle of water for sitz on his back. No water at all. But mine did. So not sure what happened there. It was an old black gentleman that helped. He laid on a table with a dry sheet and nothing else. I did the same but it was hot towels. Steam box was for 2-3 mins long. Needle shower was broken. Not sure if we would do this again. But please look into this that my husband didn't have a good experience at all.

I'm a massage therapist myself and she's clearly well versed in many modalities from traditional Swedish massage to shiatsu and cranial-sacral. I was staying in Clarksdale and am so glad I found her. Very well worth the trip. And if I were living here I'd certainly come back on a regular basis. She's a real treasure for the area. You should stop in even if you don't have any injury just for the relaxation too
