They took our money and delivered terrible customer service. The initial consultation went…read moreextremely well, in fact, we were really impressed with Dr. Bentley. I was looking forward to a breast reduction. I had to do my own leg work to obtain medical clearance and I made sure they had everything they needed. They lost my paperwork four times and I had my doctor at UAB and my local primary send over everything they needed. This was planned months in advance. I called a couple of months prior to the surgery date and they said they had everything. Two weeks prior to surgery a girl from their office called me to tell me that they needed my paperwork and I was in disbelief that they were once again saying they did not have my paperwork. I have a history of afib and a blood clotting disorder so with these two areas of my medical history, I, nor my husband, felt comfortable moving forward with this practice. I politely declined the surgery at this point because of the lack of assurance we had. It's perfectly normal to doubt the point of what else would they forget while I would be under anesthesia given the number of times they lost my paperwork. The office manager told me that I would not be refunded my deposit back because I was the one who cancelled. What part of that "they dropped the ball" do they not understand? Does Dr. Bentley even realize why he lost me as a patient or does he even care? I believed in this physician enough to give them payment so why in the world do they think I would cancel for frivolous reasons. The reasons were legit and they should have made this right by doing the right thing. We own our own company and when someone drops the ball, we, as the owners, make it right with our clients! Apparently not all business owners are created equal.

However, looking back on it now I am so happy I did. Dr. Jain and all his staff were very professional and welcoming and made the process so comfortable for me. When I did have a concern about how one of my incisions was healing they immediately made time for me to come in and be seen. Also I just recently went back to get lip injections and they are healing beautifully. I highly recommend Dr. Jain and his team. I definitely look forward to seeing them again for future services!

I was supposed to have a procedure done in August. I didn't realize that my insurance had changed…read more I already paid my part and I was told that I didn't have to do all the pre surgery things again and they would resubmit everything to my new insurance. Well an emergency came up on my end in September so I didn't follow up. It is now November and I am told everything has to be redone and resubmit to my insurance. This was supposed to done in August and the excuse they gave was I must have slipped through the cracks. So if you are a black person you will be forgotten at this place.

Which they didn't do til they had me sit and wait for over 30 mins in the waiting room. When I finally went back, I waited about 10 more mins for her to walk in, not really offer any options or want to discuss anything, and she was scratching notes to the tech on the back of the papers on the counter right in front of me. It was very unprofessional. I ended up taking a referral to a plastic surgeon because I didn't trust them to hurry up and cut on my face. I won't be back.

This is my first visit to a dermatologist so I can't really compare him to other dermatologists…read more In a nutshell, if you want fast fast fast, he's the doc to go to. For more details of my visit, read on. The office itself is very spacious and clean. The hours are very client-friendly. I think they open at 6 Mon- Thurs. So cut them some slack from still being sleepy or tired. My appointment was at 7:20. After a few minutes of wait, I was brought to the exam room where a girl ( She did not introduce herself so I don't know who she is. Actually, none of the ladies I spoke to introduced themselves to me or say anything like "Hello, how are you". Though I did get a thank you and a hint of a smile after paying the $50 copay.) Dr. Mark seemed very professional but he looked really rushed and breathless when I met him. He shook my hand, ask a couple of questions, took a swab, then gave me a diagnosis of what he thinks it is. He then gave me a prescription and also said they will check the sample to verify. He then walks off the room. I think the whole exchange took at the most ( and I am being generous), 1 minute. He did not ask if I have any questions or other concerns. If you are the shy type, forget it. By the time you can bring yourself to ask, he would already be gone. The girl gave me the prescriptions and I did ask her how I can have a prescription when they've yet to test the sample swab. To which she responds that they think it is eczema. Note that in no time was she ever near me to examine my skin rash.

Dr. Anderson informed me I would need a MRI of the site for which I needed an operation. No problem…read moreas I had this problem well over 10 years. I.had paid for my surgery up front. When I was able to get my MRI, Dr. Anderson contacted me and told me that there was nothing to operate on because it was just edema. I was flabbergasted. How can someone have edema in the same location for over 10 years, that does not go away with rest and only continue to grow. Dr Anderson just didn't want to do the surgery, but he did informed me that it would be considered an cosmetic surgery that my insurance wouldn't cover, so I would have to pay out pocket. My own provider doesn't believe it to be edema. I was distraught because 2024 was a painful year and this improvement for.my well being was something that kept me moving forward. I hung up on Dr. Anderson then later spoke with Jamie office manager and requested my refund and was told she would have to check with billing. Jamie did I check with billing when I paid to have the procedure??It's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't received my refund. I talked with Jamie again today and was told that it was passed on to administrators and because I hung up twice on them they were thinking about discharging me as a patient. What service did I received other than conversation. Now it looks like I will have to take legal action just so I can receive my own money back. You don't have to worry about discharging me Jamie or Dr. Anderson why would I stay

Dr. Anderson came highly recommended from another highly respected general surgeon. It took two procedures due to a significant amount of internal scaring. I love Dr Anderson's unique personality. So, I had to schedule another appointment.I saw NP Garnett. Wonderful lady. She was prompt, polite. So, at a follow-up appointment for the sores, s, they did heal but she had a new one. Dr. Caldwell said come back in 3 Mos if you want to after I waited an hour to see her. So, we tried to schedule a follow-up and the receptionist said "Oh, we don't have any appointments, we'll call you." From the remarks, the doctors tone and the receptionist immediately telling us no appointments were available, I got the impression we were being urged not to come back. If I do go back, I'll try the NP or another staff dermatologist.

My daughter was seen in Jan by Dr Peters. He said it would be easy to remove a place on her face…read more We scheduled her in March. I called days before her appointment to explain we did not have insurance and would be self pay. They said okay and gave a price of the procedure then a few days later I confirmed appt and said SELF PAY on it. When my daughter went to her appointment the front acted like they didnt know it was self pay & when Dr Peters saw her ALL of the sudden the place on face would be more "invasive" & we should wait until her insurance starts in April. (Im sure to commit insurance fraud) Because the place on her face looks the EXACT same. What has changed is that he can not charge whatever he wanted to insurance. After my husband called to argue with the front Dr Peters agreed to do the procedure but it would be TWO days later. I left work and went their office to get an explanation & found out they charged my credit card $79 for an office visit!!! I said he denied her service today why was I charged?? And their reasoning was that Dr Peters did see her briefly. They are CROOKS and FRAUDS! I cancelled all future appointments.
