I did not have a good experience here. It's very busy. I waited 45 mins. Their Covid protection measures include taking your temp. Which they didn't do til they had me sit and wait for over 30 mins in the waiting room. When I finally went back, I waited about 10 more mins for her to walk in, not really offer any options or want to discuss anything, and she was scratching notes to the tech on the back of the papers on the counter right in front of me. It was very unprofessional. I ended up taking a referral to a plastic surgeon because I didn't trust them to hurry up and cut on my face. I won't be back. read more

This is my first visit to a dermatologist so I can't really compare him to other dermatologists. In a nutshell, if you want fast fast fast, he's the doc to go to. For more details of my visit, read on. The office itself is very spacious and clean. The hours are very client-friendly. I think they open at 6 Mon- Thurs. So cut them some slack from still being sleepy or tired. My appointment was at 7:20. After a few minutes of wait, I was brought to the exam room where a girl ( She did not introduce herself so I don't know who she is. Actually, none of the ladies I spoke to introduced themselves to me or say anything like "Hello, how are you". Though I did get a thank you and a hint of a smile after paying the $50 copay.) Dr. Mark seemed very professional but he looked really rushed and breathless when I met him. He shook my hand, ask a couple of questions, took a swab, then gave me a diagnosis of what he thinks it is. He then gave me a prescription and also said they will check the sample to verify. He then walks off the room. I think the whole exchange took at the most ( and I am being generous), 1 minute. He did not ask if I have any questions or other concerns. If you are the shy type, forget it. By the time you can bring yourself to ask, he would already be gone. The girl gave me the prescriptions and I did ask her how I can have a prescription when they've yet to test the sample swab. To which she responds that they think it is eczema. Note that in no time was she ever near me to examine my skin rash. read more

Before contacting them, I confirmed that they were in my mother's insurance network. However, when I called multiple times, I was unable to reach anyone. When my mother called, she was told that she was not in network, which conflicted with the information I had already verified. She even went in person to try to schedule an appointment and was told someone would call her back--but no one ever did. This back-and-forth continued for at least four months, and we were never able to successfully book a simple appointment. I don't appreciate the overall experience, especially when it comes to something as basic as scheduling. This may not reflect everyone's experience, but this was ours, and it was frustrating and disappointing and we will be booking an appointment elsewhere.

Over the past few months, my appointments have been canceled multiple times, which has already been frustrating. However, my most recent visit was the final straw. The provider, Kyra, was extremely rude and came across as aggressive throughout the appointment. When I asked questions, she seemed irritated and unwilling to explain anything, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The situation became so uncomfortable that I actually chose to leave in the middle of the service, which I have never done before anywhere. That alone should speak to how negative the experience was. On top of that, the way she performed the treatment was completely different from any other provider I've seen there, and not in a reassuring way. The entire experience felt rushed, inconsistent, and honestly very uncomfortable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Columbus location. If you're considering this clinic, I strongly suggest making the drive to Newnan instead for a more professional and consistent experience.

Why in the world would I want to repeat my experience here after seeing the quality of their work? It was shoddy and rushed and my nail beds are also destroyed. I spent hours the first time out of my day and paid for a service to be done right, and they didn't deliver. They even accused me of going home and taking my own nails off. I spent SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS, WHAT ON EARTH WOULD COMPEL ME TO GO HOME AND RIP THEM OFF? And then they told me my nails were too short for them to hold anyways. I ASKED the first time I was there if I could do shorter nails so that they would hold, and they told me they would. So I was lied to, given poor service, and then denied my own money back, and didn't even receive an apology. This is disappointing. I was excited to go here and get my nails done, and spent a LOT of money to be treated unfairly. I eventually just opted for the half refund. I will NEVER go here again and I will tell every single woman I know to steer clear of this place and just go to Royal Nails or Fancy Nails instead.

Looking for a great dermatologist? Look no further than Dr Mark Herron. I've been seeing him for more than a dozen years. He's treated me for pre-cancer cells as prevention and 3 times diagnosed me with basil cell cancer. He performed 1 surgery in his office and twice referred me to great doctors for specialized surgery. In the past year he's been treating me for acute psoriasis. His diagnosis is always correct the first time. Prescriptions are always right the first time as well. If there is any dispute with insurance coverage his office works with the companies on my behalf. They never leave it to me to resolve. I cannot say enough about this man and have always highly recommended him to friends and family. They have always shared my opinion. I have to mention his office too. If I need an appointment, I've never had to wait more than 48 hours. If I really need to get in quickly they arrange it. Once there I've never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. From check in to check out his office is a model of efficiency. They have a very modern, clean facility with easy parking/access and all of his staff could not be more pleasant or professional. I've never experienced a doctor's office like this! I've had the most wonderful experience with doctor Herron and his staff! They are very caring, sweet, and genuinely want to help you. I started going to him a little over a year ago with hideous birthmarks that I was sure I would live with for the the rest of my life. I've never had a doctor actually sit there and listen let alone go personally out of his way to help! Now after a year you can see a big difference with the laser removal, which they make sure to make it as easy and as comfortable for you as possible. Dr. Herron, Laser technician Megan, and the rest of the staff have the best bed side manner and attitudes I've ever seen in a staff. I wish all doctors and there staffs were like this. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Herron. I saw him for a spot on my forehead, which he diagnosed as a keratosis with no biopsy and treated it with a laser. The spot reappeared and I complained to him on my next visit that the laser treatment was ineffective. He got upset about me questioning his treatment plan and he dropped me as a patient. I then went to another dermatologist, who performed a biopsy on the same spot and it came back as a basal cell carcinoma, which required extensive Moh's surgery. I am so thankful that Dr. Herron dropped me as a patient because I was able to see another dermatologist who had the skill and expertise to properly diagnosis my condition and provide the proper treatment plan. read more

I've been using Dr. Herron for years now. The staff is wonderful, which is one of the most important things when you go into a doctors office. The hours are super flexible and the appointment goes by promptly, which is perfect for people with a tight schedules!! I recently went in for laser hair removal, which is one of the best decisions I've made. If you're like me and pain is not for you, this is perfect. I had multiple areas done in almost no time. Super easy and almost painless. It's been almost three weeks since the first treatment, and I can still tell a huge difference. I highly recommend it to everyone!! read more

Dr. Mark Herron is thorough and efficient in his approach to diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions. He shows genuine interest in his patients and in meeting their needs. This caring attitude and professionalism is reflected in his staff as well. Normal office visit, i.e., annual check-up, takes less than 30 minutes from sign-in to check-out. No gathering dust in his waiting room! Patients are promptly informed of lab results and follow-up. Highly recommend. read more
