When we want something, we do our research to find the best of that thing we want. Infertility specialists are no exception. My husband and I had been trying for 10 years, 8 years before my OB told me, "you've got to stop, and seek a different route. This just isn't working." For the last 2 years we researched and fought to find the perfect infertility specialist in our area. But quickly came to realize we would have to expand a little out of our city. We first came across Easy Bay Fertility in 2010, and thought "this is too good to be true" so kept looking. The more we looked, the more frustrated and depressed we became because all we wanted to do was have a baby, not spend the amount it would cost for a brand new car off the lot! So in September of 2012 we said we are just going to do it, we're going to see Dr. Andrew at East Bay in Provo, 2 hours out of our way. That was our first step, to the best decision of our lives. We weren't treated like a number, we didn't see money signs in their eyes as we came in, their staff was awesome. I loved every appointment walking in and having them greet us by name instead of "you have an appointment? What's your name?"- Their prices are beyond competitive - best out there, their knowledge of infertility and treatments are top notch, and their success rates outstanding. After that first consult, we left there knowing that we were going to get the help we needed to have a baby. I would recommend 100%, hands down to anyone trying to conceive to go to East Bay Fertility -We are expecting our first bundle of joy in April and we couldn't be happier! Dr. Andrew and Thomas are the best! They have helped us to have THREE children now in three separate births! (and we even have to do ICSI!) Our dear sweethearts Jade, Ethan, and Abby! If you don't know, according to the CDC, Dr. Andrew's office is not only the number one clinic in Utah in terms of live births from an embryo transfer cycle, but they are also the NUMBER SEVENTH CLINIC IN THE US! He's also less expensive than 9/10 or more of the clinics out there. While other doctors charge many times the price because they can, Dr. Andrews works really hard to make it workable for the average couple. We have found him to be so knowledgeable. He discovered my wife has a 'hooked uterus' which makes the transplant procedure very different, and his knowledge of every drug, In Vitro option, and procedure out there is unsurpassed! I must say that the 'low stimulation' procedure he used on us is safer on the woman's body, only produces the top quality eggs from a cycle (instead of harvesting vast amounts of lower quality eggs - which may or may not get us pregnant), and when Thomas gets a hold of those eggs, whatever he does, really works! We went to EBFC after having 3 failed IVF (2 fresh, 1 frozen) using our local clinic. We had our remaining frozen embryo's shipped to them. I was anxious on how it would work since we were out of state but the staff made it very easy to do. Dr. Andrew's attention to detail surprised us when he called 2 days before our appointment to recommend we come a day earlier than expected, he said that upon reviewing my numbers if we waited that extra day we would miss our window. My local doctor NEVER changed our appointment dates. Thanks to EBFC we conceived our first daughter, now 3 years old. When we discussed trying a fresh cycle again we knew we would go straight there. Once again I was nervous since it's a lot of work being out of state but once again they all made it easy to do. We stayed out there while waiting to do retrieval, incubation and transfer, after reviewing my numbers again Dr. Andrew recommended we wait an extra day to better my odds which meant that all the staff needed (the anesthesiologist, nurse, embryologist (Thomas) and Dr.Andrew) would come in on a Saturday. It worked, we were pregnant with our second daughter on the first try. I can not give enough praise to the staff and Dr. Andrew for the work that they do. I have been to a lot of doctors in my 10 years of infertility and Dr. Andrew is the most knowledgeable and dedicated to his patients doctor I have ever seen. Words can not even express how lucky I was to find Dr Andrew , Susan and the team at Eastbay Fertility. Every doctor I went to found nothing really wrong with me, yet after multiple healthy kids I was having miscarriages. Dr Andrew took one look at my file and my history of auto immune related disease ( thyroid cancer and other family history ) and knew right away instinctively what the problem was. He found the right treatments for me so that my body would accept and hold onto this final pregnancy I wanted. With diligence on both my part and the part of the team, this effort came to fruition. Dr. Larry Glen Andrew is a truly inspired doctor. After 8 doctors telling us that nothing was wrong with us, to keep trying, and to relax, we discovered Dr. Andrew. We live in Southern California and couldn't wait to travel to Provo, Utah, to meet with him. It was so refreshing to hear a doctor who actually listened and wanted to find what the problem was. I go to Dr. Andrew every 4-6 months to get bio-identical hormone pellets. It is wonderful to feel human again! Those who suffer with the effects of menopause know what I am talking about. I am amazed at the difference it makes to have my hormone levels back to where they were when I was in my 20's. Within 1-2 weeks of getting the pellets for the first time, my symptoms simply stopped. No more night sweats or hot flashes...I sleep better and my energy level returned! Dr. Andrew tests my hormone levels and replaces only the amount of hormone that I need. These pellets are not standard dose pellets. He titrates the dosage to fit me individually based on my hormone levels & the way I feel. Doctor Andrew and his team were amazing! They were the only team I've been to that put together the whole puzzle. On my first visit Dr. Andrew gathered information from my medical history that every other clinic I went to ignored and said was irrelevant. He not only helped in regard to our fertility but other medical concerns that he discovered. He even did DNA testing that revealed missing genes! This alone has changed my life! We had our first appointment with Dr. Andrews yesterday. I have never experienced so much care, compassion, and honesty from a doctor. The first time I left Dr Andrews office I left in tears because I felt we had finally found someone who was determined enough to help us achieve our dreams of having children. Unlike others he was determined to make our success, his success. We now have four little boys which was once considered an impossibility. Out of the many physicians that we have seen he is outstanding in both his professionalism and knowledge. He never once made us feel uncomfortable and always considered our input as valuable. At one point he took his own out-of-office time and did research on a rare medical complication I was having and discovered what was needed to make our in vitro a success. YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT ON UTAH DOPL (department of professional Licensing)....HELLO....no wonder they do a mini cycle of IVF for cheap...they HAVE to offer it to entice and pray on us infertile people because we want a baby so bad and it seems too good to be true. HIS STATISTICS ARE NOT VERIFIABLE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT LEGITIMATE. 80% success rates??? YEAH I THINK NOT!! That is better than the best clinic in the world...interesting right??
