BEWARE CASH PAY PATIENTS!!!! OVERCHARGING!!! OVER BILLING!!!!!…read more During Covid I had a Telemed visit with Dr. Oldham as an established patient. This was for a medication refill. This was a 7.5 minute Telemed visit. As a cash pay patient this was a $75.00 charge. Because it was under 10 minutes and routine with no new diagnoses, it should have been no more than $75.00 and only billed as a 99212 service. I was billed an additional $162.46. This medication refill visit cost $239.46. This is a severe overcharge of services. It was billed as a 99214, a 25 minute visit. I have the call recorded at 7.5 minutes. It has been 16 months and I have called billing 3 times to explain this. Each time I was told someone would "get back to. me." Meanwhile I have been reported to collections. I gave Revere one more chance. On June 19 I sent an email to Holly Lambert in billing business office. I heard nothing. Today I emailed her again. She responded with the collection agency phone and said the charges were correct. If this was not cash pay it would be insurance fraud. Cash pay patients are taken advantage of here. I'm a NURSE PRACTITIONER. I HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY. THIS IS NOT A CASH FLOW ISSUE....IT IS A PRINCIPLE ISSUE! I'm disgusted with the dishonestly in billing at this facility. I paid the $167.33 this morning to get this off my credit report, and notified Holly at Revere that I paid and I would be writing a poor Yelp review. Immediately Abby from Revere called. She agreed this was incorrectly billed. However after the 15 month run around and only after poor publicity was there any concern. Revere can send me $167.33 check if they want this Yelp review removed. That is the amount I had to pay National Service Bureau for the collection and for the processing fee. BEWARE! IF YOU ARE CASH PAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE ASK HOW IT IS BEING BILLED!!!! GET IT IN WRITING!!! 99212 10 MINS 99213 15 MINS 99214 25 MINS 99215 40 MINS

Also love how knowledgeable and respectful the doctors are. I usually come in with a list of questions, and they always help me understand what's going on so I don't have more concerns later. We normally see Dr. Paxton, but we also have come in for emergency visits when he's not in office. Very impressed each time. When we moved further from their office, we tried a couple other practices near us and didn't like those as much. We felt either under prepared at visits because they didn't have the pre-visit questionnaire, or frustrated at the office being behind schedule - turns out it's because the doctors like to chat a bit with patients during appointments, which some people like but I'd rather get through it quickly. After that, we changed back to Canyon View despite the longer drive.

I was given an IV and also something for nausea. I was given a double dose of something that I didn't recognize. It totally knocked me out. I vaguely remember trying to talk and was unable to. I had no control. I felt heavily drugged. I was not coherent at all. Didn't even know where I was. Then in that state...they sent me home before I was able to function on my own. I don't remember even getting into the wheel chair let alone having my husband help put me into the car. The next thing I remember was waking up at 3:00 in the afternoon in my bed still feeling not quite there. I slept off and on all day. To be honest this experience scared me because I was not conscience enough to function on my own. They should have NEVER released me until I was fully awake and able to talk. I hope they don't do this to someone else. It was totally unprofessional. Joyce Burgener

Took my girls to their first visit with them today it was the best doctors visit…read more First, as you walk in there is a sign saying if everyone is well today... this way... if sick... the other way. So nice and clear to help us all stay healthier! Then in the waiting room tv and train cars to play with. Then they had us back to see them before I could fill out the paperwork!! Then we get in and they give them fruit snacks! What!!?? The best! For real everyone was so friendly! I am so excited to have them help my family!! If your looking definitely try them first!!

As first-time parents, we trusted Dr. Peterson to carefully evaluate our newborn. Unfortunately,…read moreour experience was incredibly stressful and, in our opinion, avoidable. During our daughter's appointment, the staff completely undressed her down to her diaper in a chilly exam room, performed the rest of her exam and vitals, and then took her temperature last. It came back low. Rather than allowing us to warm and swaddle her for a few minutes and simply retaking her temperature, Dr. Peterson barely examined her himself. He didn't take the time to reassess her temperature, perform a more thorough evaluation, or explore whether there could have been an environmental reason for the reading. Instead, after only a brief interaction, he immediately told us to be concerned about a possible infection and sent us straight to Primary Children's Hospital for a full sepsis workup. By the time we arrived at the hospital, her temperature was already completely normal. Because of the referral, however, she still had to undergo blood draws, urine testing, and cultures, followed by an overnight hospital stay while we waited for the culture results. Throughout the entire hospitalization, every nurse and physician told us her vital signs looked great. Her blood and urine tests were reassuring, and her cultures remained negative. Ultimately, we were told there was no infection and that this appeared to be an environmental temperature issue rather than an illness. I absolutely understand that newborns should be evaluated carefully and that physicians should err on the side of caution. However, I expected a more thoughtful and thorough assessment before my three-day-old daughter was sent to the emergency department for invasive testing and an overnight hospital admission. I was also only three days postpartum, so having to spend the day and night there while I was still recovering myself, only to find out this was something the pediatrician could have prevented, was incredibly frustrating. A repeat temperature after warming her, along with a more complete examination, could have prevented an incredibly stressful experience for our family. I hope this office reviews its process for obtaining newborn temperatures and ensuring a complete evaluation is performed before families are sent to the emergency department, so other parents don't have to go through a similar experience.

This could be a 5 star review but Ms. Jackie with the sleep disorder unit was rude and difficult…read moreand therefore I refuse to give this place 5 stars. Parking was plentiful. We found the sleep disorder unit on the 2nd floor easily. Check in was easy breezy as I did the required registration process online prior. Waited roughly 10 min before being called back. Nurse asked a bunch of questions and then Dr. Staheli came in. He also asked a bunch of questions before agreeing to do the sleep study. After speaking with the doc he walked us to Ms. Jackie. Not sure if she was having a bad day, but she was rude and seemed bothered by doing a job and made us walk back up front to reception to get our insurance card scanned. The sweet gals told me they were so sorry that she made us walk back to the front and what an inconvenience when it could have been handled by Ms. Jackie. They scanned my card. Sent me back to Ms. Jackie, and then Ms. Jackie has the nerve to ask me to pull out my insurance card to verify the info! What?! After verifying the info matched she rudely told me a few dates that we could do the sleep study. I chose a date. She then told me I had to be back on a specific date fir the follow up with results. When I asked if my child needed to be present she said yes very rudely. I said well that date was her first day of school and I wouldn't let her miss it. She gave me the next date and said if you don't take this date you won't get your results for another 2 months after. Uh, ok, then give me the next date, she wrote it in a business card handed it to me and said expect a phone call from the sleep clinic a day before and don't be late. She turned back to her desk and we left, I do not look forward to dealing with her again, and I hope on our follow up I don't have to!!!

I am incredibly angry with Revere Health. My experience observing my wife getting a scan there…read moreconsisted of people in their early 20s lost, confused, and overworked trying to do more than they were able to. Whoever runs this place should be ashamed and embarrassed. They then ran the wrong test resulting in a false negative so my wife's ailment remained untreated trying to figure out another solution. Then they charged the wrong insurance and refused to back down that they could've possibly been wrong resulting in us paying a large sum of money for the scan. Again, I don't recall seeing anybody there who was over the age of 24. At a medical facility. They then were unable to admit that they charged the wrong place so we had to pay for the wrong test because, again, they messed up. Stay away from here. If a doctor recommends you here, say no. You're better off poking yourself with a knife. Did I mention that the 22-year-old-girlypop-would-be-phlebotomist poked my wife with the needle 8 times because she wouldn't believe my wife when she said her veins were too small for a regular IV? Or that I had to remind the 23-year-old nurse aid or assistant Provo bro what he forms he had and hadn't filled out and what questions he had and hadn't asked? Or that rather than trying to help us with their mistake charging the wrong insurance they just badgered my wife incessantly until she had to get her lawyer father to step in while they figured all this stuff out? Seriously, these people don't deserve even the microbial respect automatically assigned to an entity when scrolling past it online.
