This company, East Coast Auto Transport mc 296071 is the worst. My new car was transported from Florida to Rhode Island In April 2019 and I am still dealing with the fact that they will not pay for the damages which was done by their company. I have pictures showing no damage on my car when I left it at the terminal in Florida dated 4/19/19 and when I picked It up in Rhode Island, I noticed the damage to the bumper right away. It's almost $2000. of damage. Pictures dated don't lie. When I brought it to the girl's attention at the time of pickup she was so sassy and told me " well, get an estimate", which I did. Would never use this company again! I strongly suggest you don't either!! Thirteen days to deliver our car...Our car was supposed to leave Providence one day after we dropped it off but instead it did not leave Providence for 8 days.. We understand these are difficult times and we could forgive a delay.. What we do not forgive is that the company never got in touch with us to let us know.. zero communication ! We would have driven to Providence and taken out the things we needed or just take the car and drive it ourselves. ,, They never let us know the car was just sitting in their lot.. as a result those options were denied us.. We did not learn that the car was still in Rhode Island until we arrived in Florida after reaching out to the company several times....13 days after drop off the car arrived . Don't do business with this dishonest company. I had a contract for home delivery of my vehicle from FL to MA. They did a bait and switch and refused to deliver my car per the contract. I had no choice but to pick it up at their filthy facility in Rhode Island. They cheated me, an 85 year old guy, and were rude in the process. Do not use them ever! read more

so sorry to state i can no longer recommend this company. used them for 4 years and thought they were reputable. but unfortunately, they are not! last april, 2018, my 2013 camry se was trucked back to ri from florida. the day i picked it up it was rainy, which didn't help my review of the car, and i missed two huge dents in the front lower bumper, which is low on this model for fog lights...anyway took the car to car wash and saw the dents. took pictures and sent to owner, colby correra in west palm beach. i paid for a new bumper as repair was not possible. i never received a reply to my inquiries, or even contact for information. obviously this company does not care one bit about one customer, and maybe not about any customers? read more

Cannot recommend this outfit. They were very communicative until the contract was signed, and then silence. No outreach to advise on when car would be picked up (and it was picked up late) and then no outreach regarding delivery. Took a slew of my calling and e-mailing them, sometimes without any answer or response. The service they use for delivery on the other end had no paperwork for my car, which is why it took a while to sort out. Honestly, just not ready for prime time. First of all I would like to say that I never write reviews in fact this is my first yelp review ever. I have shipped my car a few times and never have I been so disgusted with the service. The communication between the dispatcher and the driver was absolutely ridiculous from the beginning. It didn't seem like they were even speaking to one another they picked up my car a day early which was ok but I had to rush to pack and rearrange my day because I did not expect them. The delivery was the problem. I was told they would be there on Wednesday. Then dispatch told me Friday and then the driver called me on Thursday and said he would be there in a few hours! The dispatcher texted me at 3:30 and said they were an hour away. I did not expect them at all on this day and had plans with family for a birthday dinner. I told the dispatcher multiple times that I could not pick up the car between 6-8pm, I was more than flexible with these guys. I agreed to meet them a few miles away because they said my street was too small for the truck, although I have had my car picked up on the same size truck right in front of my house! The dispatcher told me to meet the driver in east orange at shop rite! Which is 6 miles away in a very dangerous area. I had to argue with the driver for over an hour to convince him to find somewhere closer to me, all the while he was extremely rude. We agreed on a stop and shop in Clifton. At 7:30 the driver called me and when I told him I wouldn't be able to meet him until after 8 he said I needed to get there in ten minutes or he was moving to his next stop in PHILADELPHIA and I could pick the car up there! I could not believe how rude and disrespectful the driver was! I don't care what profession you're in, customer service is always part of your job if I am paying you to do a service! I arrived there on time with the guy still threatening to leave as I Pulled in. He also said I had to pay $800 instead of $750 because I was late. HA! I brought my father because I did not feel safe to meet this guy alone. He was disrespectful and rude to my father and got angry when we took pictures of his truck! Even while we were standing right there with the money in our hand, he was threatening to take the car to Philadelphia and leave. I have NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED in a service in my entire life. Company have left my 75 year old mother in law and her 95 year old father stranded without a vehicle. They contracted to move the car from R.I. And deliver in Ft Meyers in four to five days. Mother in la Flew down on day four expecting car to arrive. It is now day ten no car. Extremely rude woman in office told me that they had three trucks breakdown and could not get parts???....I asked her where the car was and she told me it was in Virginia. And then said me she had told me enough.......Unbelievable! she is actually upset with me because I am asking questions about my 6 day overdue car!!! don't make the same mistake we did. rude, unprofessional and unreliable.
