Wow, simply wow! This company is amazing!! They are fast, professional, honest, and reliable. Needed to get my car shipped back to SoCal after a year out in Boston, and it was such a breeze with Patriots transport that I don't know why I drove it all the way there to begin with! Set up was fast and easy. Got a quote right away from Yelp, got connected with a rep from their company by email, who patiently and efficiently answered all of my questions. Once my info was given and the deposit given to make the reservation, they called me in like 2 days and told me that they'd be ready to pick up next day. They give you at least 24 hours advance notice and the drivers are great with communicating back about time as well as pick up location. My driver was amazing!! I was worried about having too much in the car, but he told me that as long as it didn't get past the windows, it would be fine. My car arrived in a whooping 7 days (including weekends)!! It arrived basically the next day that I arrived in LA, with no scratches, dents or anything. To keep my review as honest as possible, I'm going to write it as I go through the shipping process. After calling around, Patriot Auto Transport gave me the best price for the enclosed carrier, which is more expensive, but had the ramps needed for my lowered car. All I needed to confirm was an email and a small downpayment to be scheduled in, which is great cause elsewhere I would have to do that plus faxing signatures back and forth. Target date is the the week of the 21st. 8/14/17 I got my confirmation as well as the driver's contact information which I love because keeping up to date with the driver is as quick and seamless as contacting a friend. 8/16/17 Pickup day was great, the car was meticulously looked over and any imperfections were carefully documented. The car was driven onto the truck and now I wait for it to ship to my school in California! So far so good, update coming soon! 8/21/17 I got a call saying the car is going to be there a little early so that it'll be ready the same day I land. 8/22/17 We were notified of where to pick up the car, and it was unloaded safely then paid for. I couldn't be happier with the results and the process was smooth and simple, which made the stress of moving across from Massachusetts to California a lot less stressful. If you're reading this, chances are you're like me and like to do your research. Unfortunately what research turns into when it comes to the auto transport world is finding out just how horrible companies out there can be. There are lots of bad stories out there; it's a minefield. In fact, I actually partially stepped on one when trying to find a carrier for my recent cross-country move. I booked with a company based out of Florida and warning signs were popping up all over the place - he sent me someone else's quote, he kept on confusing June and July, he couldn't keep track of which cars were mine, etc. It all culminated in me taking my business elsewhere, and as luck would have it, to Dave at Patriot Auto Transport. You should just get in touch with him. That's my only recommendation. Because I think you'll see from your very first email or contact with him that he's a stand-up guy. Professional, friendly, experienced, customer-oriented...pretty much everything you feared you had to give up when looking for someone to take care of your car. Avoid at all costs. Awful service bordering on fraudulent business practices. We agreed on a pickup date for my vehicle by contract, which was confirmed multiple times. Five days before the scheduled pick up date a driver calls me and tells me to be ready. I call Patriot Auto Transport and explain that because we are moving, we need my car until the agreed upon date. Our contact at Patriot gave rambling explanations as to how things work in the "transport industry" but finally agreed to honor the contract and send a truck on the agreed upon date. On the day of the scheduled pick up, no one shows up and I begin to call Patriot. Over the course of the day I am told by our contact at the company that he is on a "conference call" and will get back to me soon with the time for our pickup. Eventually he begins to say that the pickup will likely happen on the next day. After multiple unanswered calls and text messages, the contact informs me that with "just a little more time and a little more money," we may be able to have the car picked up one day late. But he won't be able to confirm even that until he finishes his "conference call." I then ask for a refund and he informs me that "you'll never be refunded ... uh, you'll always be refunded if you're unhappy." I hope this amateurish attempt at humor is not a sign of things to come as I seek my refund. I will be happy to test the resources Patriot Auto Transport has to defend themselves if that becomes necessary. read more
