I was instructed to not eat or drink in the ER all night, all morning. Dresnik sent his PA, Michelle, the next morning who was cold and rude to tell me he was not doing the scope, it wasn't an emergency. His PA said he didn't even know who I was. Complete lie!!!! The billing department billed my colonoscopy as both preventative care and a diagnostic (against the recommendation of the Health and Human Services guidance) to get more money. My insurance company even tried to explain to the billing department that they coded it wrong and they refused to re-bill. Once my insurance company knew the doctor would not change the incorrect billing, they paid at 100% and I still received a $400 bill, which was slightly less that the $600 bill.
