Trust me, I know how cliché it is for people to claim they have found a chosen family at gyms. As an introvert myself, I get it. Go try out a class at MHC and you'll agree. The coaches truly meet you where you are in terms of your fitness, with the intention of making you a better and stronger human (regardless of your experience, age, or abilities). They've stuck by me through a job loss, multiple health concerns I encountered outside the gym, and many more life events. The members that go here are some of the nicest, most respectful, and supportive people you'll meet. If not for better fitness and health, stick around for the people. It has a limited membership base so there is never a waiting line on whatever piece of equipment you want to use. This gym is small and not the easiest to access but it's in the same building as Pinch A Penny. Bring your own headphones!

The school board needs to entertain the idea to let a professional organization/gym fully run this to it's potential. Look at Anastasia Fitness in St Augustine. They have a smaller location and they are thriving with memberships. They too have a pool and outdoor gym (potential at Belle Terre) Many exercise enthusiasts prefer to be in the sun while exercising!!!!! Someone on the school board-please make resolutions and let's not see this beautiful place be destroyed or closed permanently! To my surprise capacity is not a large amount of people so it was very spacious and comfortable in the pools and sitting on the patio furniture. The daily admission is $3 for adults and $2 for persons 17 years old and younger. This includes access to the children beach pool/slide. They also have a lap pool with swimming lessons offered. This aquatic center is amazing because they have a section with beach entry great for kids. There are mushroom fountains and other fun features for all ages. Yes my fiancé even loved those fountains and reminded us of our childhood. My toddler absolutely loved it. They also have a slide which you can take your toddler on as long as you hold them. I also felt extremely safe because there were more than 3 lifeguards working. Everyone who worked here was very friendly and took their job seriously. I give this Center 10/5 stars!!
