I don't know why it's so hard to find reliable communicators when trying to hire for house work. He texted me updates whenever possible and was super courteous. His price was also very reasonable. My bathroom was such an eyesore-moving into an older condo, the wall tile and bathtub had been refinished before, but not well. It was peeling, patchy, discolored-a couple tiles were even falling away. Brannon filled in some holes, redid the grout in a couple terrible areas, and made the tiles much sturdier for me before painting. The work took about two days for him to complete and I was amazed with the results-feels like a brand new bathroom!

They took the time to check the floor for level and found that the entire area was far from level. They used leveler to achieve a subfloor they could work with and the end result was fantastic. The lines were perfect. The cuts were perfect. Most of all, the layout was well thought through before the first piece was placed. The attention to detail was most impressive. We also had a good working experience with them. They were timely and did what they promised. The guys showed up early and left late to get the job completed on time. Stevens character and experience is also worth mentioning. He kept his word and was trustworthy. They went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied and kept us engaged as needed decisions came about. We find that quality hard to come by these days. The manager that I dealt with started out fine but by the end he was horrible. They cracked my baseboards in two places. Cut away some baseboards around one closet and cut them way too short...looks horrible!! Several places where the quarter-round was cut either too short or too long. The baseboards were really banged up when they finally finished....have to re-paint the baseboards. Also, the installers only worked 4 to 5 hours a day......took them 7 days to do 1,000 square feet of LVP. NEVER USE MCALISTER FLOORING AGAIN...........!!!!!!!!!!!

According to the installers, in April, Jim ordered the wrong transition strips to go between the LVP flooring and the ceramic tile. Jim reordered more transition strips. These strips were too narrow to fill the gap left between the two floors. Jim said that he would reorder in more transition strips. He told us would get back to us and come out to ensure these strips would work - that was in September. Jim did not get back to us, I had to contact him. Here we sit, the floor still is not completed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this business! It is by far the worst follow-up and communications I have ever encountered from a business owner!
