Don't waste your time calling other places. Really, I did that. Got 8 quotes for the same job…read more Spoke to Will halfway through that process and thought to myself, "I really hope his price holds up because he is absolutely my favorite". Sure enough, Junk Away offered the best deal--by far--but also an equally important sense of integrity and reliability. I was calling from hours away to try to help set something up for my parents. Not only did Will appreciate what I was asking for and give me a quick estimate, but he was also incredibly kind, very willing to assist my parents, and a pleasure to talk to. Junk Away is what small business should be all about. I should mention that I've had items hauled away previously. I'm familiar with the bait and switch scenarios, the haggling on site, the up-charges... NONE of that here!! My parents were absolutely ecstatic about the work done by this company. Punctual, friendly, strong, knowledgeable, fast, clean, you name it--professional in every way. Apparently my mother was so happy with the process that she added items and Will was flexible and generous. They even helped move furniture that was staying behind. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

(Plus additional junk that we had accumulated). I would highly recommend them. Excellent work!!!

Top notch service, from start to finish! Angel and George said they could arrive before the arrival…read morewindow and arrived gave an estimate which was entirely reasonable. They were total pros, friendly, fast, and efficient. The easiest and smartest way to get rid of your clutter, without a doubt. Highest possible recommendation!

I hired Junk Luggers to remove four pieces of furniture from a single room. They charged $265 for…read moretwo pieces -- roughly 10 minutes of work carrying items to the curb. The full job would have been $400 for about 15 minutes of labor. When I objected, the work was already partially done, which is exactly how this pricing model works: by the time you understand what you're being charged, items are already at the road and you're negotiating from a losing position. Here's what I want every potential customer to understand: their pricing is based on volume, not effort. A bulky item that could be dismantled into a small pile in five minutes gets billed as a full bulky item. Dismantling furniture is trivial for a company that does this all day -- but they will not volunteer to do it, because bulk is how they charge you more. Before you book them or anyone like them: Ask if any item can be dismantled -- then do it yourself first. A disassembled bed frame or desk costs a fraction of an intact one. Get the total price in writing before a single item is touched. Do not let work begin on a verbal ballpark. Get quotes from 1-800-GOT-JUNK, local independent haulers, or your town's bulk pickup -- many municipalities take furniture at the curb for free or a small fee. I later called to discuss the charge and never received a call back, which tells you how much they value customers after the credit card clears. $265 for 10 minutes. Do the math on that hourly rate and decide for yourself.
