If you don't want to read the whole review, the short story is: Highly attentive staff, fair pricing (cheaper than competitors), thorough and complete work. Hire this team for your job. I was moving out of state and getting rid of almost all my possessions, so I needed things hauled away fast. In addition, my place was messy with plenty of debris and stuff that needed to go. I emailed a couple of places, including a different local place I'd used before, and John was the first one to get back to me. He asked me to take a few photos and send them to him for a quote, which I did, and his quote was extremely fair. Far less than the national chains that do junk removal and for a far more detailed and careful service. I had to reschedule last minute and John was extremely flexible. When I had a second last minute reschedule, he did ask me to pay a deposit which was more than fair since I was the one who had been flaky. He sent over an invoice and I was able to pay online, no sweat. A few days prior to the appointment John gave me a window of time in which they would arrive, and on the day of the appointment John texted me to let me know they were about 45 minutes away -- right on time with our appointment window. The guys came and got to work immediately, they were considerate about things that I wanted to keep and things I wanted to toss, and did a fantastic job being careful and thorough throughout. They were kind, compassionate, and fast. In about an hour they had the whole place clear of all the stuff I wanted removed, and they swept up the apartment. They did a fantastic job. I reached out to them through Yelp and booked an appointment for them to come by and pick up my junk ... only thing is that I was so sleep deprived that week that I had totally forgotten to give them my address. I had others respond with similar quotes, but the lack of professionalism of the other services on yelp in combination with great reviews for J&M led me to not even bother considering them. I can't rave enough about J&M, these guys are the real deal. We had a garage cluttered with 30 years worth of junk, and now it looks amazing, and feels ten times bigger with all the stuff carted away.
