We purchased a large chandelier and it came without a small but critical part. Our contractor was here and was literally standing on the scaffold when we discovered the missing part. We called Dolores and she said she will have the sample chandelier hanging in her showroom taken down and sent to us by truck within an hour! And it really came!! The driver, Jay, was wonderful and helpful as well.

Let's start with the positive. They had the items I needed in stock. The prices were reasonable for…read morethese items (at least compared to others in the area). However, the customer service at this store and their store policies are horrific. Chris forgot to load one of my pallets when they shipped and refused to bring it on his truck. I had to borrow a pick up from a neighbor and hand move all the heavy pavers by hand. And I paid for shipping. But he simply wouldn't budge and told me to "do him a favor". Favor? I PAID for shipping! Chris also told me that although they charged a deposit for their pallets they'd come pick them up after install. However after install when I called for them to come pick them up he said they changed their policy and no longer pick up pallets. How very convenient for them. When I asked if there was anything he could do he said "i'm just an employee". Huh? But you're the employee who made the promise! So I had to pay $150 to toss the pallets plus I'm out $300+ on the pallet deposits. Suddenly their prices weren't so reasonable. This store has no concept of customer service and does nothing to help when things go wrong. As long as you're ok with that, shopping here shouldn't be an issue.

He ignored requests for necessary maintenance, called me repeatedly during my work day to ask about rent that wasn't due yet (I will note that I never paid even a day late), and he ignored my calls for weeks when I needed to speak with him about renewing my lease. Speaking to some other renters I know in the area, it appears that Jolie is running a real racket with the local landlords, who all behave in a variety of inappropriate ways.

Shu helped us select the perfect quartz for our kitchen and bathroom. Because I needed to see a larger piece to truly understand how it would look, she called me within one day and arranged for the workers in the yard to cut a large sample from the slab. That extra effort made the decision so much easier. Emre was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. He gave us an excellent price and took the time to explain how to care for the quartz and how the warranty works. The person who came to measure was also terrific. He suggested several changes that made a great deal of sense and improved the final result. The installers were fabulous. We were keeping our existing backsplash, so I was concerned that it might be damaged when they removed the old granite countertop. They completed the removal with only one tiny sliver coming off the backsplash--and they repaired it so perfectly that you cannot even tell anything happened. Everyone at Island Granite was professional, knowledgeable, careful and accommodating. I highly recommend this company to anyone planning to update a kitchen or bathroom.
