It's incredibly handy for travellers using the railway station and going to and from the Underground, and seems to be permanently busy. It has all the usual range of pharmaceuticals, other health products and toiletries, as well as snacks and food, and a range of in-store health and testing facilities (for flu vaccinations, chlamydia tests and treatment, etc). The only downside is that the low ceiling makes it feel rather claustrophobic. A new feature is 'serve and scan yourself' check-outs, which seem to work OK (or at least, after a few tries!)

They hand make fresh toiletry products, are against animal testing & use organic products where available to do so. Great gift ideas abound, their products are lovely & you will even find stuff for men in there! I really like their shampoo bars - they last for AGES & the squeaky green bar in particular is an aromatherapy one that cleans your hair in the greenest possible way - great if you like to do something for the environment - and it seriously leaves your hair so soft & clean feeling - noticably different to using brand shampoos. I think their prices are reasonable & I like to pop into this branch now & then for a little treat to myself :D

The assistant was VERY attentive. She starts the sales pitch on how good it is, the ingredients, bla bla bla...I tell her that I'll take it and I'm in a hurry to catch a train. She acknowledges, but just keeps going on about how to apply it. By this time I'm breaking into a cold sweat and my mind is yelling JUST GIVE IT TO ME or I'm going to have to hang around another half hour!!
