I love my fence. I can't tell you the frustration to get here but I am here. I do not like working with anyone that cannot take constructive criticism or accountability. On my 1st day of service, there were 2 or 3 non English speaking people on my property to do the job. An issue came up and I went to speak to them and was told that they did not speak English. My neighbor's fence was taken down and it wasn't discussed with me so I could not discuss it with them. Now I am responsible to pay to have their fence stained. We have a connected fence. Normally the cost is split but I had no idea that it was going to be removed. I do not have a personal issue with Travis or the lady in the office. I do have a business related issue with Travis, the owner. I tried to resolve any issue with getting my fence completed as the customer, which I should not have to do. I even texted him after the hurricane on my current number to make sure that him and his family was safe. I told him that I would wait until things slowed down from the hurricane work before getting my fence stained just to yet again be disrespected by this company and was refused service. I was told to find someone else. Look at what trying to be loyal got me. I could have found another company many months ago. They are trying to belittle me saying that they are just the middle man. That is what they with getting the fence placed. I have my Master's degree and far from being dumb. I am having issues with my gate so I will see how they handle my warranty. I have deep holes in the ground there are post that were cut from the old fence that are now trip hazards because they are not flush with the ground. I would recommend that you look elsewhere. I just pray that they don't treat certain people differently from others and stereotype people. read more

Hired East Georgia Fence to install a 125' split rail type of decorative fence across the front of our property. They did excellent work at a fair price and I'd definitely use them for future needs. Particularly impressed with the experience level, attention to detail, and honest suggestions of Lee, who did the proposal, and recommended against a couple of ideas I had despite the fact that they would have earned him more money. I called several times to make an appointment, I had to leave email after waiting several days they never got back this time she answered and I gave different email because putting a period between my first and last name kept throwing her off I drove to her house, gave new email and left deposit of 925.00 half of job some was was supposed to come and discuss whether stain or paint with 3 or 5 year option when i called back I was given a tentative date of Jan.1st I canceled appointment and waited at home no one showed up and no one called, I called back to see what was going on and she didn't I tried to tell her it's common courtesy to let one know what's going on and hung up within 5 minutes the owner Travis called yelling at me he didn't make tentative dates and because I was rude to his secretary he was canceling my job after holding close to a $ 1,000.00 for a long period of time, they don't have an office so I had to go to Champions retreat to get a refund check left in his mailbox, because I didn't say goodbye to secretary he canceled job after weeks of him holding my money, I called secretary and told her if she thought I was rude I'm sorry she accepted my apology, want to hand someone your money and have them cancel weeks or months later, over a b.s. excuse this is the company for you read more

I called this company out on January 17 for a quote. At that time I was told it would be three weeks before he got to me. I did not have a problem with that. I paid $3200 half of what the fence world cost. On February 3. I contact the owner to see when when they would start on my fence. I receive e an email stating it would be week February 14 or February 28 before they got to me. When I complain and told him I was told three weeks. The owner drop me and return my check on February 4. I could have gone with one of the other two companies that came out to give me an estimate in January. Now I have to start all over again. These guys are the best! We hired them to put in a shadowbox fence between our house and our neighbors. They put it together in no time at all. Extremely professional and all were the nicest guys. Workmanship was less than average at best, workers did not take pride in their work. Was sent a copy of warranty on their fence they installed but they DO NOT Stand behind their warranty. Would not repair issues occurring with fence without us paying them more money. If it's under warranty they should fix for free not charge more. RIP OFF. We absolutely love our shadow box fence. The alignment is fantastic, especially considering some of the tricky hills and drainage systems in the backyard. Everything seems sturdy after 2 months and heavy rainfall. There were a couple issues with our sprinklers after installation, but Travis and his team addressed everything immediately without any hassle or hesitation. Employee arrived 30 minutes late for quote and failed to make an attempt to ring the doorbell or knock on the door. I called immediately after the employee drove away and the employee told me that they did attempt to knock and ring the doorbell. However, my Ring cameras showed a different story. I sent the two videos of this employee failing to make any attempt to ring the doorbell or knock to the receptionist and owner and was told that the employee was telling the truth and that I was lying. The owner proceeded to YELL AT ME and tell me that he would never provide me with any fencing business ever. I called a competitor and they showed up within 30 minutes and provided a quote with zero drama or yelling. Do not believe the hype from Google reviews, they have been living in this area for many years and probably had their friends write most of the reviews. Pretty standard in the SouthEast, sad to say. Given the experience that I had and the number of people who are saying they moved here from somewhere else (same here) and had a bad experience with the company and they performed below standards, it really looks like they are running on friend reviews. read more

My neighbor had their fence replaced. I have a large dumpster in front of my house for my use for my yearly clean out. East Georgia Fence personnel decided to throw a pallet and fence boards into it instead of hauling off like they were paid to do by my neighbor. If there is an option for zero star, I will rate it for this company. If you are looking for a reliable, honest and responsible contractor to do the job, look somewhere else. I moved from California to Georgia and hired him to do my fence for privacy and safety purposes. His crew did the fence when we were away. When we come back, there was no privacy fence at all. They was a big gap in my front gate that anyone can put their hand in to open it from outside. When I requested him to come back to fix it, he did not return any of my phone calls, messages or emails for 10 days. He only called back when I sent another email mentioning that I am disappointed with his way to handle my concerns and this was not what I expected from a BBB accredited business. He called back, not to address my gate problem but to "address" the tone of the voice in my email and accusing me not having patience. To him, the gate was "standard" to have a gap and they did a GOOD job and any additional request would cost me and I would have to be patient and wait for him to do it when he has time. Well, use your judgement-- If you are only interested in having an ordinary quality, "standard" fence work done, you probably can go ahead and use them since the owner is not the one doing the job. He hires young kids to do the fence. But if you have any special needs or desires for any decent customer service then this is not the right business you want to deal with. The owner is arrogant, unprofessional with no customer service or communication skills, but sadly, he is not even smart or hobble enough to realize that. read more
