We were extremely specific about a custom funeral arrangement and discussed the details directly with the florist, yet communication was poor throughout the entire process. It was one delay after another, with little transparency or follow-through. The arrangement didn't even contain any rare or particularly special flowers to justify the cost, yet we were charged over $600. To make matters worse, it arrived 4 days late--completely unacceptable for a funeral arrangement where timing is everything. Called and placed an order for a basket Thursday morning. Asked for it to be delivered ASAP with the latest being Saturday morning. Basket arrived to recipient around 4 on Saturday (latest possible time). Upon placing order, we had requested that the basket be filled with a nice meat, cheese, and cracker selection with some fruit. Pretty much what was shown on the website, but the better version (order came to $241 after tax/delivery). We expected gourmet brands and a classy looking basket, instead it was a chintzy box of fruit filled with typical bodega items. Some of them included: - Brick of "Gourmet" Cracker Barrel Cheese - Nabisco Wheat Thin crackers... - A few loose Nonni Biscotti's - Small bag of Ghiradelli Chocolate We try to keep business local, but are very disappointed. We often send baskets to clients/partners in the area, but after seeing this one, I think we will revert back to our previous basket company. You at least you know what you are getting. read more

East Hampton Flowers is still a wonderful flower shop in town! After spending the day in Montauk we wanted to grab a flower arrangement to take home with us to New Jersey. I remembered this shop, having been a few years ago, and gave a call. Alejandra helped put an arrangement together with sunflowers and red roses, our favorites. She even stayed after hours for us to pick up the arrangement from her personally. Days later, they still look beautiful on our table. As a bonus, there's a cute little ice cream place next door with a good area for sitting outside. We each got a small scoop of vanilla and enjoyed it before getting back in the car. It always makes me happy to see a local business maintain consistency. I would come again gladly anytime we're on the east end. read more

Based upon positive Yelp reviews, I chose this florist to order a balloon bouquet for my daughter's 20th birthday. She was staying in the area with friends and I thought it would be a nice surprise. I ordered them online, about 5 days in advance. The ordering software allowed me to write a card to go with the balloons, which I did. I requested a morning delivery. I received no follow up from this florist with any questions or even confirmation of delivery. Nor did I hear from my daughter about receiving the balloons. So at about 5:00 pm on the date of requested delivery, I called the florist. The female who picked up the phone told me that they went out for delivery at 4:00 pm but the delivery person was not back yet. I called again at 6:00pm to check on delivery. A gentleman answered the phone and told me that they were delivered at about 4:10 pm. That was interesting as I was on the phone with my daughter at that time and she said nothing. When I still had not heard from my daughter, I texted her to ask if she received any balloons. She responded with were those for me? from you? telling me that they were loose and came with no card. Apparently, the delivery person just handed them to the person who answered the door. They were not tied together in any type of bouquet. The delivery person did not ask for my daughter despite them being for a specific person nor did they send the card that I wrote. So, the balloons were just loose in the house with no one knowing who sent them or even who they were for. A total bust. read more

This place sucks! I'm a florist and I wanted to purchase some flowers for a dinner table. The peonies are 16.50 a pop! That's ridiculous. Also the girl in the front was not helpful and she went to the back and never came out‍ omg I'm really disappointed at this place. Horrible selection of flowers as well. I just received a Birthday floral arrangement from my niece on Saturday late afternoon. She gets me one every year from here and it's always been very nice. This one got here and it was horrible. It's Monday morning and all the flowers have wilted and are basically dead. They must have a new florist. It's bad. So, that said I wouldn't have dreamt of writing a bad review, without calling them back first. When I spoke very nicely to the man who answered, he told me I basically didn't know what I was talking about. He treated me like an idiot. I told him the roses were already open and wilting and the flower colors didn't match. It looked like someone who doesn't know what they're doing, started that worked at a very cheap place before. And this is $$$$ premium money. I will tell everyone here who gets flowers to go somewhere else and never stepping foot in there again. The man didn't even ask if could help me, or offer anything. I ordered a wreath with flowers special order for a memorial service. Everyone I worked with at east Hampton florist was so nice, professional and responsive. I made a special order which was complicated and they worked with me to make the most beautiful wreath.
