My fiancé ordered me flowers for my birthday from this shop and they were mainly greens and very little flowers. They died within 2 days and by that day it was Saturday evening. My fiancé asked me to take it back to the shop since I live here and that I did. They refused to give a refund and I had take pictures of the flowers that had not bloomed and were already dead, the 1 rose was already dead and the greens had black spots all over. My break was not that long and Alba told me they can replace it or wait to talk to manager tomorrow. Which was Tuesday. So they kept my vase and I told her that my fiancé will talk to them and if it needs to be replaced ill call them since they do not want to refund. I called them back and Alba came on the phone and immediately gave the phone to her "boss" who never introduced herself but saying she was the owner. Started yelling saying that I am to never call back there and my fiancé or she will file harassment charges. My fiancé told me that she said I came in there with an attitude from what Alba told her which is a lie and not true. I was upset that my birthday flowers died within 2 days and they also did not try to offer a refund or take care of us. My fiancé ordered flowers that were well off over $150 a couple weeks prior which were gorgeous and lasted 2 weeks at least. These flowers he ordered the owner exclaimed to him that they were ,"only $50!" and fifty dollars or not they should have not been an arrangement of greens and dead within two days! They kept the vase and I tried calling back since they weren't going to offer the refund to make another arrangement and I was yelled at and told she would file harassment charges on us for being upset over flowers that died within 2 days and that they were only $50! Very unprofessional and overpriced. Not good customer service and no regards to compromise. Between Alba and the owner they both lie and come up with stories on how I was perceived which is wrong as I was only trying to enjoy birthday flowers sent with love from my fiancé who is not here. The owner than proceeded to say "good luck with your fiancé! " and hung up. Very very unprofessional! read more

The front of the store invites you to reminisce and dream how a small sign, a plant, or bouquet of exquisite cut flowers would make anybody that walked into your house immediately feel they are home. Too much of many of Southampton stores is just run of the mill, "touristy gifts". Topiaire is a giant leap of decor. Each way you turn is another piece of art, often from local artists, and worth every penny, not overpriced copies, "made in ...." wherever. I highly recommend making Topiaire a destination that you will not only never forget but will always remember, it's that special. The people that help go above and beyond to find what you want want, to pay attention to every detail to make your choice an investment that is meant to make your space special. I'm always impressed by the creativity and design work that they deliver in whatever is delivered or purchase from them. I find it fascinating that approx five months ago I received over 50 great reviews from satisfied customers, and not one of their reviews has been kept in place and I am back to two stars. As soon as I received all the great reviews, yelp contacted me to advertise and when I said no, all my reviews were no longer accepted and went from 4.5 stars to 2. This is my favorite shop when i hit Southampton. I can't wait to see all the charming beautiful things they have. Just looking at the front entrance puts a smile on my face. I enjoy going in and talking to the staff while they make my flower arrangement because they have Hydrangeas my favorite flower! and do some amazing arrangements. i am not sure who is reviewing topiaire on your site, but they couldnt be more wrong! first review is about another shop, who is out of business, we dont even have any men working in the shop {only as a delivery person}. there should be some sort of vetting process before people can post reviews.
