I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr Pruden from back when we each had no grey in our hair - and he remains the only chiropractor I fully trust til this day. I recently went to see him due to a new issue with damaged nerves and a slipped disc, which most chiropractors tell you they can fix in just a few adjustments. Dr Pruden took the time to read thru my entire MRI images (not just the report summary, which is what most doctors do) and showed me in great detail where my issue was, and why I would likely need surgery, which was something that my medical doctor has never told me. He also did something that NO CHIROPRACOR WOULD EVER DO which is to tell me to save my money and that for my condition, any relief would be temporary, which I have since confirmed with my doctor. Any other chiropractor would have told me that they could treat me, but it would take a commitment of 2-4 visits a week and that they could sell me a package of 10. I hope this makes clear that the in addition tio being the best chiropractor in the NY area, he also has great integrity, and he will never strong you along just to get paid. Now, having experienced my share of lower back pain I was desperate. I had been to other chiropractors and they all started with the routine come back every week until it get's better. Dr. Gross is different. I was very impressed. Dr. Gross takes a personal interest in the healing on all of his patients. You can hear in his voice the way he talks to all his patients. This past week the back pain got to a point where it was getting difficult to walk. Dr. Gross saw me without an appointment. A little electro-stimulation and some twisting on the machine and I felt better. No magic here, I wasn't 100% better but I was definitely feeling better. She comes off as very knowledgeable in her field and is very warm and kind as well. Although my pain is in my pelvis, she did a thorough examination of my entire body's structure. Even with 30 minute sessions, she has been able to get a lot of work done on me. My muscles have definitely relaxed plenty since first seeing her, and I have pain far less frequently. She also immediately provided me with a home program that was adapted as time went on to fit my progress or regressions. She also knew when to refer me to see a doctor for medication. I would definitely recommend her.
