This martial arts system was developed to both promote health and longevity of the practitioner as well as being a highly effective form of fighting and self defense. It's movements can be beautiful to watch but all have purpose. They are not there simply to look good or impress others. Choy Li Fut has over 150 forms and as many as 36 weapons. It is not a martial arts system meant for any one person to master the whole thing. It is there so most people will be able to master a portion of the system that best fits their bodies and ability. The founder Chan Heung wanted a system that could be taught to and made effective by the majority of persons, not the few that meet is physical requirements. Golden Leopard has monthly classes for children and adults of all ages and abilities, complete beginners to advanced martial artists. Introductory classes are also offered in sessions for kids wanting to try out martial arts. There are no contracts required or initiation fees. Sifu Eric Muchowski is also a licensed Chiropractor, provides acupuncture services and has a degree in Exercise Physiology.

First off I must say this is the most beautiful well thought out Martial Arts facility that I have ever been to. The school has a rich history and the Instructor Master Pat Carey is excellent and knowledgeable in both Hapkido and Taekwondo. The entire organization is very courteous and welcoming both students and Instructors. It can be difficult to find a Dojang teaching true and pure Hapkido that is not hybridized with Taekwondo but the school does a great job of keeping the two arts separate. I highly recommend anyone interested in an Excellent traditional Martial Arts program give World Martial Arts a try.
