After some research, I knew I had to have my tattoo done by Fay. A few weeks before my trip, I called, paid my deposit, and sent over my design with the tweaks I wanted. Everything was set, and my excitement started to build. Fast forward to the day of my appointment--I arrived right on time, and Fay was already waiting, ready to go. She printed out my design, and let me tell you: she *nailed it*. First try, no edits needed. She even printed a few different sizes so we could settle on the perfect one. And before I knew it, she was tattooing. Yes, it hurt (because, of course it does), but the pain faded as quickly as it came. Chatting with Fay was a blast, and to top it off, she even touched up one of my older tats. And the pricing? Absolutely fantastic for the quality. But I wasn't done. Apparently, one tattoo wasn't enough--I decided to get a tragus piercing with Adam. Now, it had been 10 years since I'd had anything pierced, so naturally, I didn't quite remember what to expect. But Adam was a total pro. He distracted me effortlessly with great conversation, and before I knew it, the piercing was done. His vibe? Impeccable. I'm not happy with this, but there's nothing I can do about it now. I went to Body Jewels and the staff there took a look at my belly ring and said "whoever pierced this did it way too deep." Because of this inconvenience I would advise any girls who want their belly pierced to go to Adrenaline or any other store!

I actually went to Adrenaline after visiting another place that told me that there's a risk of migration/rejection due to the shape of my belly button. I went to adrenaline looking to get a second opinion and they said that migration or rejection is due to the piercing itself more so than the person's anatomy. I thought that was interesting and found both places to have a reasonable backing to their explanation (but then again, I don't know that much to begin with). Overall, the experience at Adrenaline was pleasant and there was minimal pain. I give this place a 4 as I think they can be more thorough with explaining their equipment prep procedure and the aftercare for piercing. This picture is 2 weeks after piercing and the cost was ~$80 (jewellery included).

Paid 300$+ every single time. Most of it was for jewellery which was extremely cheap. They sell it as 14k gold or something but it's definitely not that. And they don't let you have a piercing unless you buy gold jewellery which is more designer then the basic studs. So all in all very basic experience. Wouldn't recommend. Even though you get good service the piercers are still new and inexperienced and the jewellery is trash.

You'll go and put a $100 deposit down, the artist will whip up something quick and carelessly, you'll provide direction, you'll leave and wait to hear from him, you'll hear from him the morning-of your tattoo via email with an attachment of the quick and careless draft he drew when you made the deposit, you'll say you don't want to have that ugly piece of art put on your body and ten you'll ask the shop manager for your deposit back, then finally they will tell you because the cancellation isn't within a 48 hour period that you've lost your deposit. This is a dishonest group that I'm sure is doing the same to others. Don't work with this shop. There are so many other incredible and deserving artists and entrepreneurs in this city.
