We had the pleasure of attending a wedding at this beautiful venue. It is a hidden work of art just…read morenorth of Dade City. The route to the barn takes you through winding country roads of Old Florida. When you pull into the property, it immediately delights the eyes as the barn is just perfect in the middle of a field that has huge oak trees. The ceremony was setup underneath one of the pieces of natures artwork of an oak tree. White chairs and wood benches were partially under to. As the sun was starting to set, the ceremony began. No matter where the photographers stood, there was an amazing shot. After the ceremony, the guests were guided to the cocktail hour on the opposite side of the gigantic barn. High tops were nicely decorated. Drinks and finger food was displayed on two long tables. My kids along with many others were enjoying the wood swing under another oak tree. The grass was just the right length to not mess up your attire. Guests were having a wonderful time taking photos of the landscape. Now the moment we were all waiting for, entrance into the barn was well-worth the wait. When you walk in, the barn opens up into wood ceilings with huge chandeliers that romantically create the mood for the event. At the back of the barn, on the wall was a white sheer curtain lit was tiny lights. In front of that was the bridal party's table. In the back right corner was the bar. The back left corner was the DJ. In the middle of the barn were big round tables and several long tables. Everyone was allowed to pick their seating family style. The restrooms were decorated and extremely clean. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to the guests. (I do not know if the venue has its own staff or if they were brought in with a caterer.) It was a wedding from dreams and fairy tales. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. I wish I had taken more pictures of the venue but I spent so much time taking pictures of my family at the venue. We visited the main building which had many examples of artifacts that reflect what time was like in FL back in time. My favorites were seeing the Victorian Doll Houses and seeing how detailed the homes were. I also loved seeing the dolls and the types of clothes they would be wearing by decade. My favorite was walking through the back. It was a nice sized village that had a church, school, train station, home, grove, garage, tool shed, barn, etc. There was a number of activities, actual people dressed back in time, animals, etc. There is a lot to see here. They often have special events throughout the year. If you like their Facebook, their events will pop up. Their next event has to do with their popular homemade sugar cane. That event will be Jan. 9. This place is fun, pretty, & educational at the same time.

The event was held at the Garden House with gorgeous large chandeliers and another wedding occurring at the Antique Barn. Don't worry though, there is plenty of space between the two weddings and no disturbance! Cocktail hour was under a majestic oak tree, but mosquitoes were vicious in the evening, so bring bug spray! The dance floor is spacious and since bride is Dominican Republic, loved the Spanish music, so you can get your groove on. The music being broadcasted during dinner was loud and had to shout when talking to friends. The decor was every women's dream with perfectly placed bouquets of white hydrangeas and white roses. They have a list of vendors recommended for the event that know the setup as well as options to use outside suppliers. I dont know who catered the event; Food was disappointing and did not sync with 5 star venue. The steak was well done with grisly pieces of fat & didnt seem like it was quality meat. The mango/cilantro sauce was the best, right amount of sweetness & helped with taste of dry chicken. I only had a couple bites of each and ate some mashed potatoes and took some bites of overcooked, mushy veggies. The cake was my favorite, definitely a Spanish take with savory and sweet notes. I thought that was the highlight, glad could end on a high note! Lange Farm has to be one of the nicest wedding venues I've been to, definitely a top contender for picturesque photos with graceful oak trees & a constant breeze in April. It is a luxurious place. My coworker and I briefly talked about the cost, which I believe is around $50,000 for venue along with food and booze package.This comes out to be $7,143 an hour assuming guests arrived at 4pm and left around 11pm, definitely above average cost of a wedding in Central FL, which in 2017 was $271/person or $37,898! If you're going to do it big, do it here. There were two bars setup, so you can always stay hydrated and try not to think too much on how much $ you're spending because it's a ton!

It was absolutely beautiful except for the walk into the dirt to our seats and then the mosquitos and gnats that attacked right as they were saying I DO! gahhh We ran off the field and into the open front area and hung around til they opened the barn doors. The whole venue is so barn chic and fabulous!
