Lang Farm is where you get your happily ever after. I came here for a coworker's wedding and really took in the beautiful natural sights around me. The event was held at the Garden House with gorgeous large chandeliers and another wedding occurring at the Antique Barn. Don't worry though, there is plenty of space between the two weddings and no disturbance! Cocktail hour was under a majestic oak tree, but mosquitoes were vicious in the evening, so bring bug spray! The dance floor is spacious and since bride is Dominican Republic, loved the Spanish music, so you can get your groove on. The music being broadcasted during dinner was loud and had to shout when talking to friends. The decor was every women's dream with perfectly placed bouquets of white hydrangeas and white roses. They have a list of vendors recommended for the event that know the setup as well as options to use outside suppliers. I dont know who catered the event; Food was disappointing and did not sync with 5 star venue. The steak was well done with grisly pieces of fat & didnt seem like it was quality meat. The mango/cilantro sauce was the best, right amount of sweetness & helped with taste of dry chicken. I only had a couple bites of each and ate some mashed potatoes and took some bites of overcooked, mushy veggies. The cake was my favorite, definitely a Spanish take with savory and sweet notes. I thought that was the highlight, glad could end on a high note! Lange Farm has to be one of the nicest wedding venues I've been to, definitely a top contender for picturesque photos with graceful oak trees & a constant breeze in April. It is a luxurious place. My coworker and I briefly talked about the cost, which I believe is around $50,000 for venue along with food and booze package.This comes out to be $7,143 an hour assuming guests arrived at 4pm and left around 11pm, definitely above average cost of a wedding in Central FL, which in 2017 was $271/person or $37,898! If you're going to do it big, do it here. There were two bars setup, so you can always stay hydrated and try not to think too much on how much $ you're spending because it's a ton! read more

We went to a friend's wedding here and it is absolutely gorgeous! There are 2 barns I think that you can rent out for your event. The whole farm is amazing. The wedding was held in the field in front of an oak tree. It was absolutely beautiful except for the walk into the dirt to our seats and then the mosquitos and gnats that attacked right as they were saying I DO! gahhh We ran off the field and into the open front area and hung around til they opened the barn doors. The whole venue is so barn chic and fabulous! read more

Attended a wedding here in the barn. Facility is very clean. They were able to accommodate the wedding party and move the event from outside to into the barn because of rain. Very pretty and rustic county looking. You are required to utilize the approved subcontractors for food and linens and you must use their bartender. Drinks are $6 or $7 for bottle beer or small glass of wine. Party planner was attentive to bride's needs. It is very pretty but this is Florida so I would not recommend the barn for events May thru October as there is no air conditioning. read more

My husband and I were married there 8/29/15 and it was absolutely perfect! It had rained that day off and on but they were able to accommodate us and move our ceremony inside without any further stress to us! It was a true fairy tale!! The grounds are open to take photos all over which turned out absolutely STUNNING! We paid extra for a wedding coordinator and she was seriously the best! It's not just about getting married "on a farm" or "in an barn" many more options and doesn't have to fall under the catagory of "rustic or country." We went more for a "shabby classic chic" and used the garden house for our reception, which transformed into my own ballroom fantasy! Fingers crossed we have friends get married there so we can endure the sheer beauty of the entire property and great staff and as guest this time!! read more

Prior to posting this review we reached out to Stonebridge in hopes to resolve the following issues. Stonebridge did not care enough to respond. I have been overwhelmed at the thought of writing this review and am only doing so to keep others from suffering my same fate at the hands of Stonebridge Weddings & Events. Our first meeting was with Brooke. She informed us the property had just been purchased JW Fulwood, and they had big exciting things coming. The owners' previous wife owned a Christmas shop and the venue now had its inventory to use for weddings. They were also going to build a chapel that we could use as our ceremony site. At the end of the meeting, we booked the venue. We continued to work with Brooke, but eventually stopped getting replies. After many attempts, my husband spoke with Dori (Fulwoods daughter) who advised that Brooke and Brittany no longer worked for the them and we would now be working with herself. Dori began by informing us that the Christmas décor was no longer available as they had sold it. That meant we had to come out of pocket to purchase décor we originally did not have to. Next, the chapel, if ever built, would not be done in time for our wedding. Then, a couple days before our décor appointment, Stonebridge cancelled it. We had waited a month for this appointment, so my husband reached out to Dori who told him that our wedding planner never booked this appointment with them. Our wedding planner immediately provided proof that they had scheduled and confirmed the meeting. Stonebridge chalked it up to their internal miscommunication, and we ended up having to pick another day about another a month later. Day of the meeting, we met with Dori and Jenny (just been hired). We picked out our décor, our linens, our new ceremony site, and the wooden cross back chairs. A few days prior to our wedding, Dori advised our wedding planner that we could no longer leave our décor overnight as they would now be closed the following day, Sunday 12/29/19. Our contract stated we could leave our personal décor overnight as long as it was picked up by 10am the morning after the wedding. Despite it being stated in our contract, they refused to honor it. The day before our wedding, at our rehearsal, one of our vendors arrived to drop off Christmas trees for our wedding. Upon his arrival, Dori attempted to deny the delivery, stating they had not approved it. After providing proof that they had, she again chalked it up to their internal miscommunication. This is when we found out that also Jenny, now no longer worked for them either. That same evening, Dori texted us that they had another internal miscommunication and made a billing error. We now owed them $800 for the extension of the wedding and then some more (amount undisclosed) for table runners, to be paid that night. We extended our wedding and made our final payment to Stonebridge months prior, with confirmation all totals were paid. Linens were included in our rental of the venue. My wedding planner contacted Dori to discuss and got all the numbers to prove that by doing table runners we were saving the venue money. Dori didn't budge. We had to come up what ended up being an additional $1,027. We missed the final hour of our rehearsal dinner handling this and figuring out how to come up with the additional money. The day of our wedding, the venue set up our floor-plan wrong. When our food truck showed up, the venue refused to unlock a gate allowing him to gain access to where he needed to go. They used the white fold out chairs as opposed to the wooden cross back chairs. When it rained during our reception, the venue refused to assist, forcing our wedding guests to move the furniture inside the barn. They were soaking wet. If all that isn't enough, even my wedding planner has decided to no longer do business with them after watching them mistreat many couples. The rustic barn and garden house venue is not unique to Stonebridge Weddings & Events. I urge all couples to consider literally any other option. It's truly in your best interest. read more

Jenny at The Lange Farms what is amazing! Three months prior to my wedding I had to move from Wesley Chapel, Florida to Washington DC. Jenny made the transition as easy as it could possibly have been. She was on it and communicated quickly. She was a godsend on the evening of the wedding; December 31, 2016. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and I have her to think for it. She was efficient and compassionate, and I appreciate everything that she did for us. I would recommend Jenny and The Lange Farms in a heartbeat! Just to give you a little bit of context I had issues with my bridal party. My entire bridal party was over an hour late and I had to hide out in the bridal suite waiting for my dress and veil to arrive. Jenny kept me calm and help me with my dress and veil and shoes when none of my bridal party assisted me. She spent the evening looking out for me and making sure that I was enjoying myself and not worrying about a thing. Because of her I was able to enjoy the moment completely and I have memories to last a lifetime. read more

My husband and I are both from the Northeast (i.e., Rhode Island and Pennsylvania). We had been looking for a charming spot that reminded us of how we grew up, and once I found Lange Farm online, I knew it was the one. After going through the whole wedding process, we couldn't have been happier with our selection. When we first started the process, they has a lot of turnover, which led to a little unnecessary stress. We paid for the coordinator, which I still recommend, but we had four different wedding coordinators(!) in the year leading up to the wedding. This obviously led to some delays in responsiveness, but they always worked hard to address any issues. We got married at the big oak tree, and we had our reception in the barn. On the wedding day, all of our family and friends commented on how great and beautiful the entire venue was. Everyone involved did great to keep us on schedule while allowing us to enjoy the day. This was the best day of our lives, and the location of the event had a lot to do with it. Lange Farm is a magical place, and they are set up to provide amazing weddings. I would highly recommend Lange Farm for any wedding. We hope our friends have weddings in the future here, so we can go back! read more

READ THIS: DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!!! My stepdaughter, Mackenzie Johnson, originally booked this venue around July 2019. When COVID-19 hit around March 2020 we were worried with how long the pandemic would last and began trying to coordinate with the owner, Dori Fulwood, and her staff to try and get a new date instead of the scheduled October 3rd, 2020. The staff continually put off our questions as they needed to confer with the owner, Ms. Fullwood. All as they continued to collect payments from us monthly. When Ms. Fulwood finally reached out to myself and my daughter on separate occasions, she let us know that our contract did not require her to reschedule and that she was moving forward with her weddings and contracts as scheduled. In late June she told us she would monitor the CDC developments and see how her scheduled weddings went in July. This was at a time where CDC guidelines were limiting capacity in venues to 50%; and to avoid large gatherings like weddings in general. Our agreement was to "house" 125 guests; which could not be met given the Barn venue we rented. We never received any update from her with information concerning any developments; Mackenzie then sent Ms. Fullwood a detailed emailing containing all the ruined elements of her wedding. Ranging from North Carolina guests not being able to travel due to having to return and perform a 14-day quarantine mandated by the state of North Carolina, her mother and my wife not being able to attend due to being immunocompromised with Multiple Sclerosis, and how if anyone came and attended that got sick our family would be liable. Ms. Fulwood did not respond to this email which lead to my wife telling her in late June that if we did not get fruitful communication that we would be seeking legal counsel because she was tormenting our daughter and had ruined her wedding by not letting Mackenzie reschedule. Ms. Fulwood responded saying she would no longer be communicating with us and that we would be hearing from her attorney. We reached out to her office again after a week and they said we would receive a call that day. We then retained legal representation. When we were called, we were told that Ms. Fulwood only wanted to work with us and wanted everything to go according to plan. At no time before this point did anyone give any impression of wanting to work out any sort of agreement (reschedule, refund. Etc) or show any concerns for Mackenzie's wedding day in any regard. We were never given the option, that it appears others were, to pay a fee to reschedule the wedding for another date; something we would have absolutely done. Following this conversation, we were in negotiations to reschedule and agree to other terms, like it would be the only reschedule we would receive. This lead us to cancel all our vendors, lose deposits, and issue "change the dates" to all our guests. A few weeks later Around August 21st instead of receiving available dates, we were informed that Ms. Fulwood would not be agreeing to terms and would be honoring the "original contract"; leaving us with no vendors booked, guests with no travel plans or lodging and some sticking with their plans not to come due to the pandemic, and a wedding almost 30 days away on October 3rd. Now my 21-year-old daughter's wedding was supposed to be 3 days ago, a date that has came and went. I am truly just shocked that businesses can operate this way without being shut down. We complained to the FL AG. We have lost around $7400 paid to the venue and a few thousand in attorney fees; all for a wedding that never even happened. Ms. Fulwood is not willing to provide a refund or a new date currently. Now that negotiations to reschedule have failed we have made a demand for a refund. After this there are little options to recoup our money outside of paying thousands more in court fees. The staff at Stonebridge touted a value of "the bride's special day" Instead, they destroyed her day when they could have rescheduled. In the end, we will be left to book a new venue and start all over again. read more

Congratulations to all my fellow brides to be! Please remember this review when considering your wedding venue location. Recently my fiancee and I fell in love with Lange Farm and their grounds for our outdoor, fall wedding. They were booked this year so we happily selected a date November 2013. Good things come to those who wait, right? Recently my Grandmother asked us to consider dates for this year, as she was getting older and facing some health issues. We were happy to accomodate. We booked Lange Farm in March with a $1800 deposit. When I called to cancel, I was advised that all monies are non refundable. Ok, I am the first to admit, I signed the contract never thinking we would cancel. Reality is that things change and life happens. Bottom line is that Lange Farm will keep our deposit for services never to be delivered. They will not work with us for a partial refund, even though they have more than a year to rebook our date. When I pressed for an escalation, I was advised that the lawyers were standing firm against the refund. Sadly, I have no recourse other than to warn anyone considering Lange Farm to think twice. They were nice during the sale. They were great in taking our money. They were true business and lawyers when things changed. Lange Farm is in the business of delivering a service with many competitors. If you are considering them as your vendor, please go into your agreement eyes wide open. Please consider their competitors and think twice. Choosing your vendor is a big decision. Lange Farm clearly is business first, service and delivery second. read more

Beautiful venue for that rustic chic vibe I was looking for for my upcoming wedding. They do all sorts of events here. It sits back peacefully in Dade City on an elegant horse farm. The staff has so far been very accommodating. They have two different locations both have so much to offer. The outdoor barn is very rustic and can hold up to 100 people. The only downfall to this spot was no A/C. But the pictures of this location are amazing. The Garden house can seat up to 250 is indoors and is just magnificent. Really looking forward to getting married here next fall. read more

I attended my nephews wedding at Lange Farm on what turned out to be an unusually windy, cold day in Florida. The staff at Lange did a great job bringing an outdoor wedding indoors. It was about a 40 minute drive from Tampa and was the setting was lovely. The only thing lacking was the catering, they were understaffed and the service was slow. Lange Farm is on the higher side of venues that we have looked at and you must use vendors from their approved list, so our cost to have the event at Lange Farm was going to be significantly higher, so we expected special treatment associated with the higher costs. The special treatment changed quickly once we told her that we did not need the Wedding Coordinator for the Day of Wedding for an additional $600. At that time we were basically treated as an income source for the Farm. We paid the $100 deposit to hold the date based on our conversations with Danielle Clarke. Unfortunately she did not share the terms of the contract with us before we put down the deposit. Their contract is the most one-sided contract that I have ever read and with my work, I read thousands of contracts. After questioning the one-sided contract we were sure that they would strike through some of the ridiculous clauses. Danielle spoke to the owner, Tom Lange, and he refused to make any changes to the contract. We traded a few phone calls and emails and they still refused to budge. If anyone is considering using this venue, please ask for the contract before putting down your deposit. Below are the items in which you should take note as you can be financially responsible for much more than just the wedding. Paragraph 3.5 holds the Client completely responsible for everything including Acts of God. This is not standard language in any fair contract. This includes fire, flood, and even act of war. If anything should happen to the venue you are still responsible for 100% of the cost. Since they have events at the Farm that may be the day before your wedding and if that party trashes the place or burns it down, you are still responsible for 100% of the cost of your wedding. The only concession the Farm would make to us is that they would try to re-schedule on their next available open date. This is not feasible as once everything is booked including hotel rooms and vendors, cancelling the event at the last minute and postponing for several months is not an option. Paragraph 10 indicates that we would be responsible to defend the Farm for any reason what-so-ever in any law suit in which someone could creatively associate with our contract. This could simply mean that if we have an event on that day and someone not associated with our wedding does anything to the Farm, we would have to foot the bill for the Farm to hire a lawyer and cover all legal fees associated with the Farm going after the perpetrator. This language is very one-sided and not fair or reasonable to both parties. We have no problem indemnifying the Farm for any direct issues related to the contract. In my business I see this request often and have always stricken the defend item as well as an indirect verbiage and have had numerous discussions with lawyers and owners and they have always agreed to strike the ambiguities. Their response was that if a 3rd party vendor did something that injures one of our guests that they don't want the guest coming after the farm. I explained that this would be considered a direct issue and we are fine with that language but we cannot agree to indirect issues. Paragraph 13 provides full Copyright benefits to the Farm including potential profit gains of our event without the consent of the Client. The Farm can hire their own photographers and videographer for our wedding without our consent and they can use this in any way they want including for profit for the Farm. We discussed this with Danielle on the phone and said that we would have no objection to the use of any photos or videos to help promote Lange Farm as it is a beautiful venue and we would encourage others to have an event at this location. However we simply requested the addition of "with the consent of the Client" to be added to the paragraph in order to protect our rights. We understand that social media is free game and have no problem with anything that may be posted that would be used and we would no doubt share some of the better photos from our photographer that could help promote Lange Farm, but we wanted to see this added so it is not only fair but protects both parties. Our request was refused and Danielle said that the owner can do whatever he wants on his property, including making a profit off of our event. At that time we spoke to our son and his fiancé to explain to them that we cannot sign a contract that holds us responsible for everything under the sun. Then we learned that the Farm booked an event on top of ours and they mandated that our wedding now be moved up to a 3:00 PM time slot. The Farm is only about the bottom line. read more

FUTURE BRIDES BEWARE: My husband and I are mortified by the treatment we have received from the owner himself, TOM LANGE and his coordinator, LESA. Unless you enjoy high stress, and horrible service than this is not the place for you. There are many other venues to choose from so although this place looks beautiful, the service is far from it so please don't be fooled. EVERYTHING except the aesthetics of this place are horrendous. If you do choose to bite the bullet, DO NOT USE LESA as your coordinator. If you would like someone who could care less about you and your future husband's big day than she is the perfect person. For starters she will not greet you or your family when you walk in the door ever on any occasion. To get a smile out of her is simply impossible. The only thing she is prompt about is contacting you for your next payment. The Lange Farm staff does not make you feel special on such a big occasion, since they do weddings every weekend you are simply a dime a dozen. You will witness this from your first visit all the way up to your wedding day. Lesa is not on top of the vendors and does not show up on your wedding day until after 3pm when the vendors have already left so they basically wonder around until they figure things out themselves. She was also late to our reception, as we confirmed with the cake vendor as she was not there when he arrived. Lesa will also dress unprofessionally, and sit in the bride and groom's chairs for an extended duration (which mind you was in the middle of the dance floor, who does that?). Lesa will also casually suggest things that make life easier for her on your big day, such as having your limo leave a half hour early (to get everyone out so she can go home). She told us at one point she could not come in any earlier than 2:30 because she had to be up early the next day....at 10:30 and she couldn't do that. Not sure on which planet 10:30 am is early or why that should affect our wedding day? At any other venue you will find that the coordinator is there from morning until night, even those venues where they do not get paid additionally...not this one. They do the bare minimum to get by. There is not much Lesa had to do on our big day and regardless we still did pay the coordinator fee just in case. Our ceremony was offsite and we set up our entire reception room ourselves the day before. Our linens almost didn't make it there (they were 2 days late) and I had to call the VP of the linen company myself to make sure they were coming or it could have been a disaster. Instead of an apology, she proceeded to tell me this was my fault because I wanted my linens unwrinkled. Lesa will never take the blame as she knew this request was made prior to us even booking the venue 1.5 years in advance so it should have never been an issue the day before my wedding. In addition to being rude to myself and husband, Lesa was rude to family members as well as the bridal party. On our wedding day we were outside taking pictures and it was the time we discussed to have dinner. Lesa came outside for the first time she is seeing us after being married and does not only refrain from saying hello or congratulations but rudely says, "When do you want to eat??" My bridal party was stunned. My aunt also walked into the reception room to ask someone for a chair and Lesa said, "What do you want?". I wrote a professional letter after all of this to the owner because in no way would I want something like this to happen to another bride. I received quite the rude and unprofessional letter back without a single apology and claiming my aunt was "confused". It clearly shows you what kind of people are behind the scenes running the place. I decided to follow up with a phone call because it seemed that no way this could have been written by the owner, as no proper business man would, but I was wrong. Tom Lange, the owner preceded to tell me that I am difficult and yell to over the phone. I am still in shock, as a woman to be spoken to in such a manner. He then decided to hang up in the middle of my sentence. My husband is horrified and we both would NEVER RECOMMEND this place if not due to Lesa than certainly due to the absolute disgraceful owner Tom Lange. He is an absolute embarrassment as not only a business owner but a human being. No wonder he doesn't deal with the clients directly because he wouldn't have any. At the end of the day, we did not let these disgruntled people ruin our experience, but I hope this note saves someone else the trouble and sends them somewhere else! Awful catering staff, unhelpful, rude & sarcastic! Prior to the reception the bride ordered me & my daughter a vegetarian meal. Nobody tried to communicate this at the venu, my table had their food except for 2 of us, I had to find the staff & they continued to do what they were doing although my table was eating. Eventually the food arrived & they tried to take it away because they said the name was not what they had. Later they asked us about another vegetarian meal & we pointed to the person in question. Later that person came to me upset because she did not get her meal. The buffet was like school dinners, green beans swamped in water. Our plates were not cleared away promptly. So happy it was not my wedding! read more

Melissa G - you are RIGHT! Way too many "hidden" fees and not consistent with origainl discussion prices and then they throw in additional actual costs when you read the contract. That's when you find out that you are not just "nickel & dimed" to death but "hundred dollor billed" too death! The Lange Farm charges the bride/groom to rent the facilities and then charges the caterer to use the same facility! The caterer then adds the charge onto the bride/groom. The Lange Farm also makes you use their linens when a caterer is more than happy and willing to provide the required linens "at NO EXTRA charge". Linen rental charges are in the hundreds of dollars for even small weddings. They also charge $150 to hang lanterns in their $500 tree rental. read more
