Some times these places make me feel uncomfortable as I think of the dire straights that someone must be in when they come to a place like this for help. I feel worse to think of the profits that they will receive from those who sold their possessions, upon selling them to me.
But then I also think that it's a part of life, and people who sell products to them are helped by the cash they recieve. Either way, places such as this become treasure troves of pre-loved goods, where you can buy guitars and other musical bits and bobs, TV's, mobile phones, watches, all that kind of stuff.
It's a small, crowded, almost dingy little store on William street, but it does the job. If you're looking for some second hand goods, give them a call with your request, or drop in if you want a scout around for a good deal. I did. And I think I'll come back too.
As a pawn shop, its good, just not a huge place. They have a nice range of guitars. read more
